I'll take Wave's side on Origins, I derived little enjoyment out of the Earthworm Jim-ish visual style approach that they took, the levels were bland, and the music was annoying. Not picking up legends. No way.

Loved Origins. It had great platforming, beautiful artwork, and wonderful music. So, I am very excited for this game, but most likely I will wait for a price drop. You can get Origins extremely cheap at the moment, so I will wait for Legends to get to that point.

Origins was actually my first Rayman game, and I played it on my 360. I thought it was quirky and fun, and I love platformers so that was awesome. But I will say that I wasn't totally hooked and driven to complete everything in the game like I would with a Mario title. I'll definitely be getting Legends, though.
I've gathered a surprising amount of fun from the Legends App and to see the Challenges bit is present in the game is welcome. That said, the Invaded Levels do look like they will be challenging, or so I've seen on the Youtubes.

this is probably for the best as you presumably missed out on one of the most insanely frustrating bonus levels ever made (still not sure how much of it was in a good way either)
I can't wait for this game. I have enjoyed the challenge app like crazy. This is the game I have been most excited for in my life, and this high score pleases me I am anxiously counting down the days.

i thought the land of the livid dead was frustrating in the very best way, been a long time since a games made me feel like this. id rage quit (which i never, ever do) storm out my room, only to turn it back on in 5 minutes and try again. i LOVED it hard lol.
I've never played a Rayman game before (besides Raving Rabbids but that doesn't count at all), but I was completely HOOKED when I got the challenges app. I'm definitely getting the game on launch because of how much fun I've had on the challenges app alone. I'm sure the main game will be great! I'm glad that the Wii U version will support 5 players and have extra modes. Normally I get multi-platform games on PC but the Wii U version seems superior in this case.
Origins was the platformer of the generation for me. Not sure if Legends will be able to top it (That would be quite the feat!), but alas, I can't wait to get my hands on the game either way.

I didn't think it was that hard. Quite a few checkpoints and infinite lives. I thought that boss at the end was going to be impossible, but it was pretty short actually, so I didn't have too much trouble.
All i can say if you didn't like Origins stay away from legends, Origins for is far better that was Raymans 3D. The originals are always the best, but Origins is good.
