@MasterWario, yes, but as far as I can tell, all it does is break ties.

You just have to jump at the right time so you can dive into the water to pick it up.

Yeah it's all to do with the timing of when you press jump.

Try doing it earlier than you think you have to, if that makes any sense. Every time I tried to get it I always ended up being too slow and crashing, so I jumped much earlier and it worked straight away.

I took the hit from the wood stake right before...it's really hard to time your jump otherwise.

How do I go about requesting a DK Tropical Freeze WiiU bundle?????? Mario and Zelda get that treatment. It would sell well as this game is getting great reviews. DK WiiU would sell!

Hey everyone. Love this game, still playing and on the last world, but somethings been bothering me. What is the DK collectable that is listed next to the kong and puzzle pieces when you go to select a level. Ive looked at the manual and on google but no luck.

Ive played all of the country series donkey kongs and figured it might be a dk coin? After all these levels I still havent found or done anything? Please enlighten me!!!

It'll keep you very busy, man. Even speedrunners admit that these Time trials are tough. The best rank is Shiny Gold, but even on DKCR, which came out back in 2011, there are sone levels no one's gotten a Shiny Gold on.

Trust me, when I say getting all the KONG pieces is very important. Your reward for 100%ing the game is a good one.

yep, I had to cancel it and wire it straight to the router, even then it still took 10 hours and 15 minutes roughly and thats including installation time~ so far its a great game~!

Ugh screw dat, trying to obtain every jigsaw piece will just be too much stress for me, not to mention those K levels.

YES! No. 1 on global rankings for Cannon Canyon (3-6)!!! Not sure how long it will last, or if it was worth the 45 min+ it took to get that, but I wanted to say I was up there once.

Don't worry about the jigsaw, you don't need them. What matters is the KONG pieces, and those are always shown clearly on the screen.

Downloaded it Friday night after going to the local Gamestop and the guy told me they did not have any more retail copies. He said they only got 3 extra copies. So now my Wii U is almost out of free space. Although I have not played it much (my sons were hogging the game), from what I did play, I do not regret getting my Wii U back in December and buying this game on Friday. When I did get a chance, I was playing with one of my two sons and they do not like to look for anything. They like to get through the level and onto the next.

I want this game so bad but I also need a external hard drive for my Wii U... choices, choices
