Topic: Demand Final Fantasy XV on the Wii U

You're saying that today, but it will be "about the specs", 2 or so replies from now, so I don't really give a damn

If it's not about money, it's about specs, if it's not about specs, if it's about demand, it's about money, if it's not about money, it's about... We've already been over this stuff. It's not up to us, whatever the reasons are or aren't, so screw it.

And I still don't know why people are negative on this forum.

I think it's more about people being realists.

That, and not everyone is super pleased with their Wii U.

FFXV could very reasonably be brought to the Wii U. I've shown why in my previous posts. These "realists" just need to express their want for FFXV on Wii U and maybe it will come.

And I'm super satisfied with my Wii U. Like really, really satisfied.

@Oragami What if these realists," don't really want to buy an inferior port when we are just planning to get on a system it's already announced for? We necessarily have that much of a desire for a Wii U version.

You don't HAVE to buy the Wii U version. It's not like you can't buy the PS4/Xbox One version if the Wii U version is released.

My point was, why would we ask SE to make a product that we have no intention of buying?

I never said I did. I represent the people who want FFXV on the Wii U.

He may not want it, but that doesn't mean nobody wants it.

The thing is not enough people would want it. Most of Final Fantasy's fanbase will probably already own a PS4 in anticipation for FF games anyway

But the question is if there are enough FFXV, Action RPG, or JRPG fans who own Wii U's but not PS4's or Xbox One's. Considering the lack of Action RPG's and JRPG's on the Wii U, I can't imagine it wouldn't sell. Plus, there has to be some Final Fantasy fans that own a Wii U but not a PS4 or Xbox One. With those facts all together, the game almost has to sell.

How would you know that it would be an inferior port? You don't. Again, with the not reading... DX11 level graphics are possible on Wii U. This already confirms that the game wouldn't be inferior, as long as they match it to Wii U's specs, which they already said they were doing for all the consoles they were putting it on.

The only games that won't be possible on Wii U, are games that utilize the PS4's extra features(aka: Sony IPs, exclusive games) Since this game is on Xbox One, those extra PS4 capabilities aren't going to be touched at all, so there's literally no way for Wii U to get an inferior port.

Does anyone here realize what DX11 even means?

EDIT: If you have no intentions of buying the game on Wii U, why even partake in this thread? The specs and such aren't an issue.

You do realize that one of these choices is positive, and one isn't?

"I already have a PS4/Xbox One, so <insert game here> shouldn't be on Wii U" - This statement doesn't make sense, unless you actually believed that Wii U wasn't graphically capable enough to support 3rd party games, which means you believed the bad press, and it effected your console buying decision. That's not everyones' problem.

There's totally a possibility that someone could want a Wii U, but not one of the other 2, so why ignore those potential buyers?

The sooner you guys realize that a Wii U port won't be inferior for these games, the smoother this discussion will go.

Digital Foundry pretty much proved that the Wii U is doing good just to match the PS3 and Xbox 360 when it comes to ports. Did anyone want Final Fantasy XIII on the Wii? I don't think so. That's pretty much what is asked here, and Square Enix has enough common sense not to port a downgraded version of Final Fantasy XV to the Wii U.

Are you kidding? It's 7th gen vs. 8th gen. People want 8th gen games on Wii U. I've already stated numerous times, in this thread, that it wouldn't be downgraded. Saying it would be, is ignoring all the information that proves that to be false.

EDIT: Nintendo didn't lie when they said the Wii U would be able to run 8th gen multiplats. Everyboby who said it can't were actually the liars(trollers?).

JRPG fans? Nope. They'll have PS4s

Also, your reasoning was simply "there has to be some Final Fantasy fans with Wii U". Those aren't really facts...
