I haven't even played Battlefield, even though I heard it is better than COD. PS3 and Xbox 360 are already out for me. I'm moving on to next gen with Wii U. I'm not even getting Bioshock Infinite because I disliked the second one so much.

I disliked Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, so would I enjoy Skyward Sword? I doubt it.

BTW Chrono, I like your sig. I think Activision doesn't realize that Nintendo fans talk, but the companies never deliver the goods, so THAT is why no one buys the games. Not because of hypocrisy like it implies.

It's nice to know that no third party developer ever delivers the goods.

Bioshock infinite is made by the bioshock 1 team

MAYBE I'll look at a longer gamplay video when it comes out then. I liked the first, just not the second. I might still be skeptical even still, because I'm pretty sure Bioshock 2 got better scores than the first one which made me want to buy it, but then I realized it was horrible in comparison.

I'm glad we're on the same page then. The DS Zeldas were honestly the Zelda games I disliked the most. So much that I didn't even play them, so I agree with you there. Skyward Sword on the other hand, was in my top 3.
I wasn't talking about all 3rd parties, just some, and Activision specifically. I used to enjoy Tony Hawk Pro Skater, but they haven't made a good skating game in years. COD is ok, but definitely not worth the fuss everyone said it was. I bought COD day one on Wii U.

but the companies never deliver the goods,

No, you were talking about every company. Plus, Activision wasn't necessarily talking solely about itself. Though, it makes a fantastic point about Nintendo's fans.

Typo. Just saying. People ask for the games they can dish out when they are still popular and new. That's honestly why I don't even care about these ports. I can get these games on a consoles that has been available for 8 years.
This game in general is as old as the first entry IMO, along with alot of other series that never truly ever add anything new. At least not enough to make a difference.

Didn't check like you did, but it was still up there in the 80's which made it a considered purchase for me. Bought it hated it, turned off of the whole series. I dislike 2 Zelda games out of what, 15? I dislike 1 Bioshock out of the 2 I have played. I'll give it a chance I suppose as one last hooray for my PS3, but I'm very doubtful at this point with all these last gen series.

Good point about what? That Nintendo fans are not stupid enough to waste their money on a lazy port or an on-rail shooter. I know the Wii wasn't as powerful as the other consoles but if third parties actually took some time to make a good game I'm sure it would've of sold. And now the WiiU is powerful enough to actually play these new games and yet it just gets shunned by third parties.

I'm really sick of developers blaming Nintendo fans about not buying their games. What about all the other companies that supported Xbox and PS3? How many of those companies went under from the hardcore crowd not buying anything thats not COD or some other big budget title?

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you're trying to contradict the most obvious of points, then no, you're not comprehending.

Activision made fantastic ports of its Call of Duty franchise as did many other publishers. A lot of them even made new games. The catch is, is that none sold substantially well especially compared to Nintendo's offerings.

A lot of the newer IPs to come out on Wii's HD brethren, sold well. The ones that didn't, were probably bad games that were complimented by no commercial exposure.

Well, wouldn't that mean bad news for the PS3? I've never heard of the exclusives being the main selling point of PS3, especially when there are just as good, if not better games available from 3rd parties. Microsoft has few but awesome exclusives that can't be beat, Sony has plenty but lacking exclusives that are easily beat, and Nintendo has plenty of awesome exclusives that can't be beat too, IMO.
The fact is, is that there are no new games only available on next gen consoles yet, and ports are apparently being cut off from Wii U, which I think is good, because we want entirely new stuff, not a sequel of a game that is on last gen consoles.

No, that would mean good news for Nintendo, not bad. The biggest selling point of the PlayStation 3 aside from its Blu Ray player, free-to-play online service and fantastic multimedia offerings were its overabundance of exclusive titles.

None of which Nintendo has. Also, please show me how many triple A exclusives Microsoft has over Sony. Please.

Multi-platform releases are what Nintendo needs. Yet it's what it doesn't have at the moment.

You stated Nintendo not having an abundance of exclusives. Was that a typo? I agree, they don't have the media front down, but it's not like they can't in the future, and their main concern right now is the games. Their priority isn't making sure Avatar 3D runs off of a bluray like Sony.

Microsoft exclusives over Sony:
Gears of War
Halo
Banjo-Kazooie(STILL better than Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Dexter anyday)
Alan Wake(not the best exclusive, but still pretty good)
The Witcher 2, still has Dead Rising 1, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon(besides DS).
There is basically an equal ammount of exclusives on all the platforms, but PS still doesn't appeal to me software wise.
You can't have a multiplatform release with no other platforms of the same gen to release it for. Wii U is the only next gen console on the market. Every game that people would consider a multiplat release like B4, COD, etc, will be a port until next gen games actually start coming out on other platforms.

Please show me where I said that.

You're not the center of everyone's life. Your opinion is not valid here whatsoever. I'm talking about Sony's overabundance of new, exclusive IPs that have come out since 2006 compared to Microsoft's.

Not. Your. Silly. Opinion.

My point, which I'm going to make crystal clear, is that if Nintendo wants make a successful profit off of the Wii U, it has to pull a 180 like Sony.

Microsoft has been publishing quite a few new IP it just hasn't been for retail. I do agree that world doesn't move around you and I find it hard to believe that absolutely nothing interests you in the PS3's Libabary and the upcoming ones for Playstation 4.

Well, Microsoft did a 360 that gen, sooo... PUN.
I'm not saying my opinion is factual, but PS literally offers nothing, especially when Xbox has most of that market, BESIDES bluray and free-to-play.
Free to play isn't impossible to do, and it's generally been a common concept looking at the PC.

How am I implying the world revolves around me? That's weird. I'm just stating my opinion, which is exactly that.
PS exclusives aren't that great IMO, it's just as simple as that.

Dont want BF4 but again is a shame that Nintendo cannot lock down any software from the west. What does Reggie do ?

Sony= Released the single greatest consumer product in video gaming. PS+ is a fantastic service that assures a steady stream of quality software.
Xbox360= Best multi-plat releases but is lacking FAR,FAR behind Nintendo or Sony when it comes to exclusives. The reliability of the hardware is CRAP.
Nintendo= Sits on their hands, keeps their mouths closed and evidently NOA does nothing. Why is Iwata on every single direct that can bore any human into tears ? I respect what he does but can they not hire somebody to speak english ?

I'll give them credit for being honest. They are safe AAA devs scared of doing something different. Understandable (well maybe ignoring the lack of realistic success in every other AAA title).
