Throwback Entertainment by the looks of it. They might just be ignored doing it. (Someone like Activision or WB Games would have killed it to prove a point).
So many good memories from this game! I didn't mind the fog so much as I really liked the controls and gameplay. Didn't care for the jumping all that much though.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Why is that an issue? They are all sharing a computer it makes sense to me to try and raise money to get some hardware to speed up the process.
If it was "Fund Me To Get A New Computer" Thing, then it'd just be a fan mod that'd be easily overlooked. But They're asking for more funds to help with the production of an IP they don't own. That could be a problem if the owner of said property catches wind of it. Granted, for now it seems there's no money in it.
Also, why do they need $10,000 for a computer and junk? I thought it said $1,000 before...
Not sure who owns the acclaim back catalog but does it matter if its being distributed for free?
As said before, giving it away for free doesn't make it more legal, just less worthwhile for the copyright owner to the game and/or characters to pursue legal action.
