Yay for me! I just joined the "1550 club" for Fallout 3. It's the first game in which I've completed ALL of the achievements. It never once felt like a chore. This game is phenomenal. I think I've logged about 200 hours total and I still haven't done everything.
New Vegas has to be my most anticipated title this fall. I was a little worried when I heard it wasn't going to be handled by the same team, but it really looks like it has come together. The realism mode (or whatever it's called) sounds like it might be gimmicky, though.
@RWP Mirrors Edge is a love it or hate it deal. I wasn't a fan,but I'm in the minority. Fracture is solid, but generic (outside of the terrain altering effects).
@Relevant Latty I remember that one. It deserved a better reception than it originally got.

Has anyone here played Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light? I downloaded the demo this past Wednesday and was totally blown away! This game is fantastic! I didn't even think that I was going to like it but I was really impressed. Lara Croft, Limbo and Monday Night Combat are my favorite games out of this year's Summer of Arcade.
I traded in my 360 today and picked up a Slim. Awesome console revision. Damn near silent, WiFi removes another wire cluttering my set-up, everything loads much faster ... sweet.
@WolfRamHart Is the Lara game really as co-op focused as all the previews have made it out to be?
@RandomWii Don't know about Fracture, but Mirror's Edge is, like The Miz, AWESOME. With a capital "AWESOME". =)
@the shpydar: They put a lot of emphasis on the co-op feature but to be honest I haven't tried it out yet. As of right now there is only local co-op since the online co-op wasn't ready for the launch of the game. I'm waiting for the update so I can try it out but as far a the single player experience goes it is very robust. I've put in a few good hours into the game but I still have not completed it yet. There is also a lot of treasures and upgrades to collect so it will definitely keep you busy for quite some time. From the reviews that I've read the single player campaign is about 6 hours in length. Also, the game itself is a whopping 2 GB in size! That is pretty darn huge for an XBLA game.
I might pick it up when it comes out. I'm not all that into Halo, but apparently Black Ops is going to cost more than the standard 360 game, so screw that idea...... Maybe Reach, maybe Castlevania, maybe Fable. I'm not sure.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
I can have some inappropriate fun with Kinect moving the avatar. But the dashboard isn't much different, so I don't give a crap. I don't spend any time on it anyway.

The new dashboard looks nice. It doesn't look too different from the existing one. I suppose it is more for Kinect integration than anything. I see that they redesigned the avatars too. Unfortunately, they still have that horrible stance. I guess I like the new look but even if I didn't it wouldn't matter because I would still have to download it anyway.
