Topic: Super Street Fighter IV Thread

Just thought this could be interesting to see who's playing this game right now because I love it despite the fact that i suck at it haha.

Its my first street fighter since the new challengers that i bought from wiiware and i must say my mind is blown, the game looks gorgeous and the "one more go" factor is definitely there and keeps me playing for hours

So far I can not decide on a main but play with all the 3 evil guys: Akuma, Bison, and Juri (because theyre just badass) and i also use some fei long. I do use the dualshock since a "stick" is way too much to spend on an accessory but its still fun i think

Insane variety in this game makes it a game i can see myself playing for a long long time. How about the rest of you?

I put off picking it up because I already had SFIV and was afraid it was simply a cheap cash-in. I borrowed it from someone and was pleasantly surprised to see how much content they put in. Not terribly different, but still worth it.

So were you not impressed enough to warrant you putting another 40 bucks out for the super version ? Who did you like to use?

It's not that I wasn't impressed enough, but I've got other games on my radar that I'm looking for first. I'll pick it up down the line, I'm sure.

And to answer the question, Cammy is my fave.

I like playing with Zangief, Akuma, Ken, and Sagat. This game is amazing for Street Fighter fans!

I am thinking of shelling out the money for a stick, since the controls aren't very good on the regular controller.

@Link Nice, I like akuma a lot but sorry to say i detest Zangiefs.... LARIAT LARIAT LARIAT all the time lol, unstoppable. Also, ive always been against buying the stick because I always felt it unfair to have to spend so much extra money for a peripheral when i paid 40 bucks for the game expecting to play it as a 40 dollar game haha. Capcom should make it so that fight sticks are for the hardcores only but at the same time they should make the game easily playable on all controllers. I think that would be ideal.

@Waveboy I can't say for sure but all I can say is that this games is my king of fighters (pun intended) when it comes to fighting games right now

@WaveBoy SSFII HD Remix is cool, but Super Street Fighter IV is better in every way.

I just got it last week, and I've been totally addicted to it. Easily the best fighting game I ever played. I don't have a wireless adaptor yet, or even a second controller, so all I've been doing lately is playing through arcade mode and the trials. I've wanted to get the original SFIV so some time now, but never got around to doing it, so this was an instant bargain for me.

My mains are Ken, Cammy, Hakan, and Gouken.

EDIT: Don't feel bad, Modern Legend. I suck at the game too lol. I can barely get through Medium half the time.

It Sounds like you Guys need more practice.

With his unstoppable move, I made Hardist mode look like a Piece of Cake.

But anyway, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one here who has SSF4.

They help me alot there, and I'm not Joking when I said, I can Beat Hardist mode real easy with Dan, I'm just that good.
But I can't past a Whole Trial with anyone, its that Hard

@Modern Legend How did you break your controller?

Was charging a move with bison, left to right really fast and right after the controller analog stick snapped back from the motion (must have been too hard) and went limp, i have a picture of it here (before taking it apart) http://www.imagebam.com/image/2761c482376959 , i took it apart to try and fix it and even though i fixed the analog stick, i messed up a lot of other stuff, so its junk now.

Unfortunetly I'm not in the PlayStation Network, but I do have it for both PC (Street Fighter IV) and Xbox 360 (Super Street Fighter IV). I also have HD Remix and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the 360 if anyone's up for a match.

@99er nice, who do you use most? i do m bison most and akuma 2nd most. I used to use juri and fei long, but had little success

Zangief, Dudley and Guile are my main three, but I use Fei Long, T Hawk and Crimson Viper periodically.

I find it better than the original, The characters don't seem so sluggish anymore. And the new characters are worth the purchase. My mains are Ryu, Ken, Cody, Juri, Dudley, Ibuki, and Thunder Hawk. It'd be interesting to see Street Fighter Alpha 3 HD on PSN and XBLA. With all the characters from the SFIV series.

I'd Rather See a Street Fighter 4 with all the characters from Street Fighter Alpha 3.
