Topic: So who is giving in and buying a PSP Go?

I'm thinking for now it will be cheaper for me to find a 16gb memory stick but the kind that can go in a PSP Go too in case later on I decide to buy one. What about you guys?

Memory Stick is pretty much dead, only get one if you are going to get a PSPGo!... in that case, you need a Memory Stick PRO Duo... I suggest you get a SanDisk one, from their Gaming class, they are pretty fast for a Memory Stick (they developed the PRO Duo standard to help Sony stay competitive with their SD format)... plus, since they are translucent and color coded, they are easier to spot if they are counterfeit or not...

If you won't get a PSPGo!, get the industry standard, an SD card (or microSD, you choose), up to 32 GB for now, 2 TB theoretical limit, and it works with pretty much everything (Cameras, PDAs, Nintendo DSi, Wii, Laptops, etc.)

Think I'll pass on PSP Go, I prefer my handhelds to be more pick up and play, where as PSP has always felt more like a console you just happened to carry around, I'd rather use an actual console for the type of games PSP is known for, think the next handheld I'll buy will be DSI, when it builds up a decent collection of DSIware and has at least a few exclusive carts to play.

@Reala, remember that if you get a DSi and take it online before October 5th, you'll get 1000 DSi Points for free...

To be honest the free points doesn't really tempt me at all, DSIware seems to be mostly puzzle game, and I really don't think I need any more of those right now, I'm really not impressed by its current line up, I'll see how it looks next year and buy it when it actually has a few games that I would want to download.

Im goin to be downloading some Minis on my 2000 model and the prices on the 97 PSP UMD games on the PSN store has my interest but shelling out the $250 for a handheld again will prob never happen again. I do like my PSP and DS Lite but Go looks a LOT like DSi. and Im NOT very happy with my DSi.

Heck no. Beside, I'll probably get the PS3 instead if I don't get my brother's 360 first. After all, the PS3 and Xbox 360 is only $299 and gasp, the Wii is cheaper.
