I can relate. I never use it. Firing it up for testing remote play with Dissidia last year is the last time I used it and the first time in a year or more. But I still keep it on the charger....I can't get rid of it, it was such a nice little machine even if it was seldom used outside the first year or two.

I've used mine for at least 150 hours this year. 130 of that was Danganronpa V3, though.

I'm going to keep it and slowly work my way through my remaining digital library. Mostly on vacations, I imagine.

A shame to hear, honestly. I actually wanted to invest in one for what little games it had for me, but seeing more and more of the games I wanted on other systems made me want the system less.

Pretty much the only thing the PS Vita has for me right now are those digital PSP games, but even those aren't enough to make the Vita for me and Mega Man: Powered Up is pretty much the PSP game I'm interested in the most, though it isn't available digitally outside of Japan...

After spending some time with the both the fat and the slim models I have to admit that I prefer the slim model. Yes, you lose that awesome screen on the fat model, but the slim has the benefit of: 1 - being lighter, therefore being more comfortable for long play sessions. 2 - the rubber casing around the edge of the slim model makes the Vita easier to grip. 3 - the reduced size of the rear touch pad reduces the number of input mistakes for games that use it. 4 - the larger home, start, and select buttons are easier to locate and use.

Picked up Code:Realize Wintertide Miracles. It was 50% off at Gamestop, so I couldn't resist. I still lament how this wonderful portable lived its life. Great build quality, yet underappreciated.

It's a shame the Vita was just left to die, to be honest.
They could've cut down the price, like Nintendo did with their 3DS. But no, Sony had to be stubborn... 😒
I love collecting trophies on the go, but at this point I don't want to buy any more games, because the second my Vita dies, I'll be unable to play any of the games I'd purchased. (Unless I bought a second hand console for far too much.)

The Switch is its spiritual successor, I suppose...

Got the SD2Vita thingy working on mine. So I've got a 128GB microSD card running for a wayyy cheaper price than their annoying first part cards.

@Dezzy Been meaning to get round to doing that. Smooth process?

You guys had me at blood and semen.

Yeah pretty much. If you ignore the fact that I forgot memory cards are highly brand-specific in terms of their quality. I bought just the cheapest thing on ebay I could find, and it stopped working within like 2 days. Once I brought a proper Sandisk card though, it worked fine.

@Dezzy did you take the same approach for the SD2Vita adapter? I haven't bought one yet, partly due to wariness about the quality, and just partly because my Vita is below my Switch and 3DS in terms of portable gaming priorities.

Well there are no official SD2Vita adapters. They're only made be these vague online tech distributors.
There are a few different versions of it though, they all look slightly different.
This the version I got. And it's running on the original fat vita:

I bought a PS Vita Slim from Facebook marketplace. I love it. Forever grateful to have played Persona 4 Golden on it. More recently, Final Fantasy VIII.

I finally found my Vita's charging cable, so I'll finally be able to play Persona 4: Golden...in a few hours. That title was definitely on point, in my case...

I fire up my Vita from time to time but I only use it as my God of War 1 and 2 machine.

I have little games for it:
1. God of War collection
2. Minecraft
3. Injustice: Gods among us
4. Mortal Kombat IX

I will probably get around to buying just couple of games. I have never played any Persona games and I only hear good things about it but I am not a fan of Japanese weird stuff. What other games are there that are good for the Vita? Soul Sacrifice? Uncharted Golden Abyss?

I was in my local Gamestop today, trading in WWE 2K18 and NBA 2K18 for store credit. (It feels wrong to have those games in my Switch collection. Poor performance, huge mandatory download, etc. I wouldn't suggest those games to neither friends nor my worst enemy.) Anywho, I took a cursory glance at the Vita shelf and saw Senran Kagura Estival Versus and Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed, both in great condition.

My PS Vita physical collection now sits at 126.

I need to have a second look at my PS Vita collection. So many of its games are getting ported to the Switch now that it's the dominant console in Japan. All those visual novels are being brought over at a breakneck pace. And the only reason I would consider keeping PS Vita versions of Terraria, World of Final Fantasy, and Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth would be for trophy hunting.

Taffy

Just going through Need for Speed Most Wanted on mine, surprised how good a port it is. Will never get rid of my Vita until there's a rugby game on the Switch (that's what'll make me get a Switch). Have a decent amount of games to get on my wishlist for it, top of them is Dragon's Crown

Just picked up what I assume will be my last PS Vita purchases. Physical copies for Soul Sacrifice Delta and Oreshika Tainted Bloodlines. Now that so many previous PS Vita exclusives are making their way to the Switch I'm hesitant to purchase anything else for the platform. Hopefully Gamestop remains in business long enough for me to get something in return for Collar X Malice, Code: Realize - Future Blessings, etc.
