Had another go at Contra: Legacy of War today, and oh man level 2 kicked my butt...

I managed to get to that mechanical tortoise boss/miniboss, but after losing to it, I really didn't feel like trudging my way back to it, so I quit for the day.

10% is nice, but unless there's a lot of stuff you want, it's not really worth it. I might use it to shave a bit off of Dust: An Elysian Tail's price, but I can't think of anything else I want...

Yeah, there's nothing I was planning to get already, so it's not really enough to get excited about to get anything now.

Ape Escape and Rival Schools are the biggest omissions on the shop, seriously. I'd love the MM Legends games on PSN, though. Seriously a missed opportunity, Capcom. Like everything else you've done since 2010...

I got inFamous 2. I'm loving it. I like having a bunch of powers at my finger tips. I love traversing the environment, and there's nothing better than taking down a chopper by launching a car at it. I do however, have a big problem with the game, Nix. I hate Nix so much. Her personality rubs me the wrong way, she's ugly, just everything about her. I also like playing inFamous on the evil side. So that impedes my enjoyment a bit, because it's hard to have as much fun wreaking havoc as I should be when it's with her, and I have to see Cole interacting with, in a positive manner no less. I swear, I want to kill her every time she call me "baby." I do like Kuo though, but since's on the good side of things, it doesn't help that much... It's a shame too because otherwise the game has a great story.

I just beat inFamous 2. Amazing game. I played it evil, and that evil ending, wow. I know it won't happen, but I want an inFamous 3 continuing Cole's story now. I'm not sure, but I might like this more than Second Son. There are a few reasons. I feel like the story is better in general. I also liked the serious tone that the game had. I feel more powerful in it too. Having all the powers all the time and everything. It also feels more refined than Second Son in a way. Probably because this took the first game and refined it, while Second Son was kind of a reboot, and couldn't really benefit from that nearly as much. Back to that ending though.
That was pretty intense, the beast wasn't trying to be selfish. Then joining him and destroying the world to save the conduits. Wow, pretty much went away with all typical superhero stuff. Killing Zeke was also pretty intense. I struggled with that, and it took me a while. I got choked up a bit while it happened. I was glad that Nix was the person who opposed me, and Kuo joined. I never did like Nix, so I kind of enjoyed killing her. I always liked Kuo so it was nice to have her on my side.
All in all, I think I'd have to say that the inFamous games take zecond place for best story out of everything I've played right now.

@Jaz007: I have only played Second Son since I never owned a PS3 but through Playstation Now I am able to play the two. I started the first one tonight and I am enjoying it.

Yeah, I've only played the first InFamous (thanks to the "Welcome Back" program), and it was a really fun game, though it was definitely rough around the edges.

I picked up Dark Souls earlier this week (along with Valkyria Chronicles, which I'm saving for later), and I have to say, I find it to be increasingly captivating. I mean, sure, I'm constantly finding new ways to get my butt skewered, I'm probably building my character wrong and I haven't gotten very far, but I feel like I manage to get a little better/make a little more progress with each attempt, which is both incredibly satisfying and addictive. (Tangent: Black Knights are terrifying and I'm not at all ashamed of the cowardly way I achieved my first victory over one of them.) And I'm falling in love with the game world and just how connected it all feels; so far, I'm definitely getting a bit of Team ICO vibe from some of the environments and the somewhat minimalist storytelling in this game.

Also, for anyone that has played Dishonored extensively, does killing the wolfhounds prevent you from getting the Clean Hands trophy? I'm trying to play through the game by being as much of a technical pacifist as I can, but I'd rather save my sleep darts for human targets if I don't have to keep using them on those nightmarish dogs.

I remember the first time I fought a Black Knight I repeatedly tried to fight him head on about 10 times until I realized I could make him fall off some stairs to his death. I felt like such a dork. But I was the dork who won!

It does feel great when you finally beat a BK fair and square, though.

Ha, I had a very similar method! I ran off onto a hidden, narrow ledge underneath some stairs, hoping he'd fall to his doom when he inevitably tried to follow me. I could not have been more delighted when my gambit actually paid off!

I do think I'll eventually be able to beat them legitimately, though. I just gotta keep working on my parrying.

I don't feel bad at all for making an enemy fall a ledge in Dark Souls 2. I feel it's fair game for him to make a mistake considering how much I've made it.

Does anyone here have any tips for fighting Chaos Witch Qualaag in Dark Souls? I've managed to figure out that she's vulnerable to lightning and that Maneater Mildred can serve as a distraction, but her roar attack (or is it some kind of explosion? I'm unsure) is basically one-shotting me every time I fight her, even when I'm near full health, and my character is not really a distance fighter. I mean, I use my long bow a lot, but it's far from the most efficient way of dealing damage.

Oooo, if I wasn't so broke right now, I'd pounce on that. I've always wanted to play Tron Bonne (and the MM Legends games in general).

I need a break from Nintendo and in the mood to play my PS3. I want to play a Final Fantasy (reminded of the series with Final Fantasy X|X-2 releasing recently on the PS4) game and was thinking about getting it for the PS3 (I don't have a PS4l. But then I thought maybe I should go back and give FF XIII a try. So what do you guys think, Final Fantasy X|X-2 or Final Fantasy XIII? I haven't played either.

Edit: Oh and Flash Sale.
