Just watched the Black Ops 2 trailer and I have to say I'm very mixed about it being futuristic. And if anyone has a better idea of who it is that is talking in the video than Alex Mason I'd love to hear it because I have no idea.

But I do like how they're taking a different approach with the franchise. Guess I'm a sucker for Treyarch. lol

It looks like it could be VERY awesome if they change the gameplay from the first Black Ops. Zombie mode with futureweapons could be amazing! One thing I don't get is why they kept the name "Black Ops" in the title. It looks to be a completely different setting.

Other than the characters and the pace, I don't see why they kept the name either. Treyarch went nuts with over-the-top weapons in Black Ops zombies so I think it's safe to say that this will be no different if not better. I hope the storyline is better than Blops 1's though. I'm sure the online will be crazy fun too. ^{Hoping for better hit detection, new modes added to Wager Matches, better customization for secondaries and balanced perks and equipment.}

Treyarch haven't disappointed me yet, so I guess we'll see this E3 and November if Call of Duty is done for.

Ya, I just watched the Blacks Ops trailer as well and lets just say that wasn't what I was expecting to see lol. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, I'm just not sure what to make of it yet. I mean horses? Really? Mind Blown...

According to the interview on Machinima, Treyarch has not only confirmed zombies but an entire developer team is working on the Zombies mode and promises it will be even bigger than Black Ops 1's. Not only that but the offline will offer different routes to the ending rather than going from mission to mission. If you die in one of the special missions you will go straight to the alternative branch of the campaign.

Not only that but you can drive tanks and even go RTS style throughout the entire offline if you're sick of holding a gun.

Edit: And according to the developers, Treyarch's entire team wasn't working on Black Ops for the first year. The second year the entire team pitched in and finished the game. With Blops 2, the entire team has been focusing on it and they're going to try and deliver the best online multiplayer shooter out there.

Also Zombies is going to be basically its own game. Zombies is now going to have individual game modes aside from the traditional waves of zombies. Sort of like Multiplayer having game modes aside from Free For All and Team Death Match.
