RE5 has terrible AI overall. The enemies are so easy to walk by in close quarters it's absolutely funny. They also tend to just stand there while I blast them away rather than running towards me. And then there's Sheva...
Someone who doesn't like to shoot the deadliest bosses/enemies, someone who enjoys to pull the switch she wasn't supposed to, someone who wastes my ****ing time. <3
Seriously, I was next to the objective door and there was this mutant thing next to me, unfortunately. As was Sheva. I press circle waiting for her to respond, as she just stood there. The enemy hit me and I lost a good chunk of health. Hit circle again (I'm not joking when she was more than able to cooperate), and I took a hit once more. So I ****ing flipped a tit and killed the SOB right after I hesitantly clicked circle. She finally cooperated. Beyond that is the fact she wasn't even hurting the enemy.
Then Sheva took forever to catch up to me when we were passing these conveyer belts. I put the controller down as I waited for her. The boss previously fought, Sheva did little to nothing to it and she's behaving the same way to the current boss which is more of a chore than it ought to be. Actually everything from killing enemies point blank to simply picking up health and ammo on her part, is a struggle. And that's all from chapter 5-2.
There's a reason I stopped playing this game weeks ago.

I'm seriously almost 50 hours into Tides of Destiny and I'm barely halfway through. This is intense.
did you make it to the first dungeon? i cant beat the boss, have you beat him? does anyone have any tips for me? i couldnt find any on game faqs
Did you buy the Sparklers from Sierra? They're a lot of money but it's worth it in the end. Also if you have to grind, do it. I'm in the Water dungeon and I'm grinding up 9 levels so I can beat the boss. Letting your monsters come with you is a nice strategy. They not only hurt the boss but they also distract it from you.
Heads up, take the same three monsters with you all the time, while sometimes switching them out here and there depending. They will level up with you and become great in strength overtime.
Also if you need any help whatsoever, I don't care what you ask, come here and ask me and I'll tell you. Gamefaqs doesn't seem to help all that much.
Edit: Actually if you want to, we should add each other on PS3. So we can play games together in the future and so I can help you with Rune Factory whenever you need it by just messaging each other. Saves time and frustration so we don't have to run back here to respond.

So compared to demons souls (if you played it) how does it compare overall? I liked demons souls but just felt it was missing something...
I haven't played Demon's Souls actually D:
But I do know the differences, the main one being that Dark Souls is open-world. That's one of the reasons I love it so much, everything feels so huge yet connected and... something...

My PS3 has been going through heavy, heavy use for 3 years, and works as well as the day I got it. Plus, thanks to the wonders of the PSN I have my save games all backed up to the cloud so, if I ever need to get a new PS3, I can just continue from where I left off.

Yeah. You need to be a PlayStation Plus member (about $20/ three months, but that's free games every month with the cloud storage), but if you are, you can store your save games for use anywhere in the world.

I was in the same boat and ended up going with the PS3 and could not be happy. They both have their pros and cons but for me the biggest selling points were the controller and not having to pay to play online. It's really to each his own.

Hey, Battle Cars and Battle Fantasia is pretty good. I enjoyed the demo of Hamsterball, and I like Mahjong Solitaire, so a free game of that genre does me alright.
I haven't played Far Cry 2 yet, so as crap as it apparently is, I wouldn't mind trying it.
