Seems like a silly reason not to play a game...

Anyway, finished Uncharted 3 over the weekend. It was amazing. Whenever you feel like you're about to get bored, something else happens. Some great set pieces. I think this is my favourite game of the trilogy.

I'm on chapter 6-2 on Resident Evil 5.

I thought it started a little slow but I'm enjoying it more now. I don't have the gold edition are the extra episodes worth the $4.99 asking price?

There's a fairly reasonably priced bundle of all the extra content, you save quite a bit actually. I think it's worth it if you really like the game!

Lost in Nightmares is a more co-op orientated campaign. There are about 7 enemies all up (including the last boss) but each one takes quite a few hits to take down.

Desperate Escape is way more action based, with lots of crazy stuff happening.

Both are about half an hour on normal. They're are not needed but fun nonetheless.

I would recommend Lost in Nightmares though, as DE is just wham wham wham wham wham wham wham wham guns explosion 6 minute blockage of enemies end.

Ive beat these games to death (CoD4 and Oblivion on 360), and I have little reason to go back to them. And besides MGS4 with trophies would be more of a good thing than anything else.

I just bough Little Big Planet Game of the Year Edition for $9.

Just an update, I picked up Ratchet & Clank: ToD, inFAMOUS, Modnation Racers, Demon's Soul, Valkyria Chronicles, and Killzone 3, all of which are incredible. I think I'm set on PS3 games for a long, long time.

Has anyone played the PSN game Outland? I'm kinda interested.

I love it. Sure it gets very, very difficult but it's a very fun adventure platformer.

It's great. A steal at under $5 if you have PS+.

So, I'm stuck on the last boss on Resident Evil 5. It's not that he is hard but that I keep freaking running out of ammo. The second to last level had a million things to kill and during the last part of the final boss battle there is no way to get more ammo. Very weak indeed.

@Splat I didn't make it too far into RE5, as I didn't like escorting the chick around. I'm sure you can Google it and find some help though.

If any of you play guitar, or want to learn, I highly recommend Rocksmith. It works so freaking well and has a dynamic difficulty that adapts to your level of playing and then starts teaching you new things based off where you're at. Really great stuff!

@Splat Yeah, he can be a bit of a pain. Really, all Sheva needs are rifle ammo, so you can use her as extra storage.

Bring everything you can, mines, grenade launcher. Also, max out the capacity in your weapons, and you'll get however many bullets you're able to carry when you start the level.

So, Outland is pretty cool. I really like the look of the game the background looks fantastic at times.

I'm getting a PS3 within the next month, and I'm really exited. I plan on getting Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet, inFAMOUS, and Resistance: Fall of Man. I also plan on downloading some PS1 games like Resident Evil 2 (it's on PSN right?) and PaRappa the Rapper.

I have had my PS3 for around two weeks now and I love it. I'm waiting for Little Big Planet to come in the mail as we speak. I haven't yet but you can get a combo pack of Uncharted 1 and 2 on Amazon for around $40. I think my next non download purchase will be that or Red Dead Redemption I haven't decided yet.
