Hey everyone, I just want to let you guys know that there is now a mandatory update available to download for your PS3s. The PSN is NOT back up yet but it looks like Sony is getting ready to do it very soon. I am currently downloading the update. Not sure if it will allow us to change our passwords now or maybe when PSN goes back online. @wolf - good stuff man--thanks a ton for the update. I've been working all day and didn't have time to check any of my regular media sources--good to know sometimes checkin my NL PS3 forum circumvents the need for that entirely.

double post D: The Uncharted 3 multiplayer looks and sounds epic! Theres gonna be a beta in June on the 28th. Only certain people can get in though (including PS+ members) so I'll be saving that free month of PS+ for June!
LA Noire reviews are pouring in! Looks like it's just as good as I hoped it would be; I've been eagerly anticipating this game ever since it was announced two years ago, so it's safe to say I'm pretty pumped for tomorrow

Yes, PSN is being restored in sections and the online gaming (also including Netflix, and other video services) is the first of these sections to be restored. The PSN Store will continue undergoing maintenance and when it return the "Welcome Back Package" will be available — supposedly offering one Free month of PS+ to non-members and an additional month to existing members, but also includes the choice of two Free games from a preset selection of five games, which are yours to keep.

OMG, turtle! I was about to click "post reply" but I decided to refresh the page and saw that you beat me to the punch. Lol!
I figured I'd already own some of the games but I already own all 5 of those PS3 games. I'll be getting LBP since my friend still has my copy and also inFAMOUS so I can play the game without the disc. As for PSP, I'll be getting Modnation Racers and Killzone Liberation. I'm kind of bummed that I already own the PS3 games but the PSP games will definitely make up for it.
PS Home is also offering 100 free virtual items which is a little cherry on top if you ask me.

Actually, Netflix has been online this whole time. You had to log in, get the message that you couldn't, kill the message a few times, and then it worked fine.
Great list!! I'm so getting Dead Nation, LBP, Modnation, and Killzone! Oh, question, can you bring the levels you make in LBP over to LBP2? Or do the two games share the same servers or something? I really want to make stuff but it would be lame if all the community is playing LBP2...

W00t! I'll get Wipeout HD + Fury and inFamous and die a happy man. I'll get LittleBig Planet for the PSP. I was kinda hoping Resistance: Retribution would be my other pick. but I guess I'll have to go with Killzone, even though it sucks. Any word on whether or not they're attached to PS+?
@Mickey I don't think they're attached to PS+ because the games are yours to keep forever whereas PS+ games are only yours while you're a subscriber. The games will be available to download for 30 days shortly after the store is up. Glad to see you'll be enjoying Wipeout HD Fury soon!
