@karakto glad to hear it...im not a huge fighting game guy but i always loved MvC in the arcades when i was younger so im picking MvC 3 up for my birthday in mid march and hopefully we can play together...and you can beat me haha
@smithers Yeah I hope so too, I really recommend this if you've loved the past games, even if the roster is about 15 characters short, the dev team put a whole lot of love into making this. But heres the thing: Even my cousin who's a generation younger than me beat me 4 times out of 6 fights. Thats how bad I am at fighting games. So you don't have to worry a thing when fighting me
Hopefully i pick up MvC3 at some stage, and I'll have to give you guys a challenge. I'm not really that good at fighting games, but I really enjoyed Tatsunoko vs Capcom (even though I probably didnt play it a whole lot after about a month or two).
This game just gave me my first laugh out loud moment in gaming in a while. "(and this is just between you and me but, she's well endowed too! Heh heh heh!)" Referring to his sister. HAHAHAHAHA
Oh yeah! The voice-acting, gameplay and set pieces are all really solid. So glad I picked this up instead of Bulletstorm (maybe someday down the road, though...)
I'll try the Killzone 3 demo, but I haven't played the series before so I don't know what it's about.
Don't worry about the story Haha. It's never been the games strong point and still isn't. It's about giant mechs, tons of enemies to blow away, and graphics the push on the levels of insanity. Move controls are dead-on as well, but Sharpshooter is giving me fits at the moment, but that is because I've yet to find a reasonable set-up, and many I've talked too have said the Sharpshooter trump Move/Navi set-up. Once I blaze through the single player with Move/Navi I will restart again with Sharpshooter.

Seeing all these Killzone 3 ads on the buses of London make me wanna try it out when I get home, ha ha. Oh and are there any tactical RPG games similar to Fire Emblem on PS3? Just got Shadow Dragon and I'm loving it!

There's plenty.
At retail, there's the Disgaea games. Compared to Fire Emblem (which aims for a more realistic style fantasy) they're insane, with massive attacks, weird characters and anime art style, but the core tactics gameplay is really, really strong, and the games are huge - seeing everything will take literally months.
You'll probably start with Disgaea 4, and that's ok. You don't really need to have played the whole series to jump in at 4.
On PSN, there's a few too. You can download Vandal Hearts on PSN. It's a tactics RPG, reasonably short and sweet (about 10 hours of gameplay, I think). It's a genuinely ugly game, but the core gameplay is sound.
There's also Front Mission 3 on the PSOne Classics. It's actually really, really good.
Get the Arc the Lad games on PSN! They're probably my favorite SRPGs now.
