so far LBP2 is awesome! story levels are a blast and im almost done with tutorials so i can start creating! there are some really clever community levels like a nazi zombie one with new guns and rooms to buy with your points much like the real thing. My only issue so far is that people often reject you when you try to join their game which is somewhat annoying but thats a minor gripe. GO GET IT!
@slapshot: Bah, oh well, I can't afford PS Plus at the moment anyway.
@josh: Isn't that just the the FF I and II versions released for the PSP retail a couple of years back, to celebrate FF's 20th anniversary, in downloadable form? Because I already have those, but I'm gonna buy Duodecim and The 3rd Birthday anyway, so getting them on my memory stick for free is a pretty good deal. EDIT: Never mind, thought I would get them for free, but I only get a discount. Oh well.

@Waltz - You are aware that you can't use multiple accounts at the same time on PSP, right?
It seems someone's missing the operative word here...try even transferring content from a second account to your PSP--it'll ask you if you want to switch your PSP to that account when you transfer. After you do that, try to play any of the content you transferred with the first account. "You must be logged into that account to play" (or some such). It's weird that this distinction exists on PSP but not PS3, but such is life I suppose.
@y2 - it was years ago...sadly i didn't get around to replacing them back when new PS1 games were still available at affordable rates
Sorry, yeah, I missed the "PSP" bit. That much is irritating, I agree.
@Waltz - it's all good--I figured as much. It's irritating since I actually bought some Japanese games (real Japanese games, not the Imports available in the NA shop) with the sole intention of playing them on my PSP. To do so means giving up the ability to play Grandia or Alundra which sort of takes the appeal out of having a shoot em up and a puzzle game to play when I'm burned out on either of the above.
I just can't for the life of me figure out why the distinction exists on one but not the other...I'd assume the account sharers have the same issues w/ PS1 titles and minis...not shedding too many tears for them though

Man, I've been playing FF 1 and 2 - the Origins (PSOne) remakes for months now. It's amazing a version of these games have taken so long to come by.
Wondering what the trophies are gonna be.
Aren't those the PSP versions?
They are? They're identical to my PSOne Origins disc remakes, as far as I can tell :-/
Murd - It's an expensive solution, but I actually have two PSPGos - one for the AU PSN store, and one for my Japanese account. I had to get the Japanese one because of all the dating ga.... errr, obscure RPGs on the JPSN.
Oh, hello. It seems that this thread has somehow moved on without me being updated. I must've accidentally deleted a "new post" e-mail without clicking the link a while back. Oh, well, I'm back now. Not checking to see most of what I've missed, though. Too much hassle.
Anyway, I noticed the bit just now about FFI & FFII on PSN, and it does indeed look like it's just the PSP remakes finally hitting the download store. About dang time, too. You'd think the release of the PSP Go would've been enough to convince them to get more of the back catalog up, but I guess the announcement that the NGP will be backwards compatible with downloaded PSP games is providing a little extra kick.

I was about to say how much I was missing you from the thread @stuff
Me too!
Just finished up Deathspank 100% and downloading Thongs of Virtue. I think I'll wait a bit on that one as it gets a bit repetive, but still a great game nontheless.
What do you guys think of Stacking? I find it boring, and I think Tim Schafer is overrated. I'm a Indy fan, and I enjoyed Psychonauts on PS2, but Brutal Legend, and now Stacking feel so outdated. Stacking controls like a turd, and the constant clipping issues in the graphics is annoying. There is literally no gameplay to speak of, but I just saw a 10/10 review on the game. I don't get it. I know it preference in taste, but 10/10?

Tim Schafer is not overrated IMO. Double Fine should get more praise. All of their games are great! It most likely got that 10 because its different and unique, something people haven't played yet.

I quite liked Stacking. I wouldn't say it deserves a perfect score, but it certainly isn't boring. I don't know anything about these clipping issues Slappy speaks of either, and I've completed the whole game. Shrug.
Well, I may be writing a full review of the game on a new website soon. I'll post a link in this thread whenever it goes up.

Anyone who has played Costume Quest couldn't possibly consider Double Fine overrated.
Yep, didn't play that one, which is why I didn't put it in that post. I just don't care for his work. I'm a Indy die-hard, and I love creative new ideas, but I just don't care for Stacking, and I really disliked Brutal Legends. That is just my opinion of course. I'm usually the guy that is always on top of these unique games, but I just don't care for what I've played from this studio.
I've had loads of graphical glitches in Stacking, and the camera is really buggy as well. Maybe it didn't download right or something because nobody else seems to have this problem at all.
