Because it's a very stupid game. It's got some good ideas, to be sure, but in the end, I walked away feeling incredibly disappointed. The huge gaps in logic (the one you mentioned is the least of the problems), the atrocious voice acting and the cumbersome controls ruin what really could have been a masterpiece. There's some really inspired, powerful moments, and if you're not too picky about voice acting I can see people really enjoying this one, but for me? Just wasn't worth it.

I beat Uncharted 2 last night I would play on the internet but the stupid thing won't connect it's really weird.

I find it easier to connect my Wii to the Internet than my PS3 to PSN. I thought it would be the other way around.

Well my PS3 connects perfectly but Uncharted 2 doesn't.

You're way in the minority there. My PS3 runs online beautifully, and was so easy to connect up. The Wii? blergh. That took some work, and still takes some work sometimes. If it wasn't for Samurai Warriors 3 and occasionally Monster Hunter Tri I wouldn't even bother.

I was guessing I was in the minority. Not sure what it is, as I have a brand new broadband connection in my house. Might just be my PSN account.

@Fuzzy: Every time I connect to PSN with my laptop on it puts me in Type 3 and I have to reset my router with my laptop off to get it back to Type 2.

Ah, that could be the problem. Thanks for that, I'll give it a try tonight.

On another note, I impulse-bought Darksiders the other day off Play-Asia ($35 instead of $75, yay) because I've been hearing good things about it. Has anybody played it? Is it too much of a Zelda rip-off? I've been playing 3D Dot Game Heroes lately and have been enjoying it a whole lot. Ive had the patience to explore every area of the world, like I used to years ago .

I'm about 2 hours into Darksides. It's really, really good, but I have no idea where people get the Zelda link - it's not really there.

I see this closer to the likes of God of War or Dante's Inferno, with a slightly more strategic combat system.

Playing as one of the Horesmen of the Apocalypse is just an awesome premise for a game, though. The setting really draws you in. Just beware though, it is quite a mature game - not as openly horrific as Dante's Inferno, but we are talking about demons and hell and stuff.

Wow the Catherine demo was... Interesting to say the least I couldn't understand anything though (of course) and most of the demo seemed to be story parts...

I can't figure out if Catherine is some kind of puzzle game, a horror game, an adventure game, or a mix of everything and then some.

Weird, weird game.

Ill prob be buying Catherine just to try to figure it out Lol.

What a dang update on PSN today! I'm not buying anything, as I've got too many unfinished PSN games already, but I will be buying Bionic Commando 2 and The Undergarden very soon.

Still no Vagrant Story! Me is frustrated!!!

@y2josh - thanks for your advice. That's exactly what the problem was. It might be annoying every now and again to reset the router, but at least it's figured out.

I saw the ads for Catherine, and I couldn't quote figure out what it's about. One game I'm hoping will come out soon is Legend of Mana. Not sure what it's like, but I'll probably get it anyway. Saw Vagrant Story in the PSN Store yesterday, and am looking into that too.

@Smithers... I love the original reboot of Bionic Commando, and heck I flippin loved the PS3 Bionic Commando retail game that got horrible ratings. I know I will love this one as well.

It's not game for everyone though, so I expect many mixed reviews.
