I'm sorry, I had to turn down the volume off. What in the hell were they thinking with the song choice? Anyways, nice graphics....But eh. It's all about the games, and so far there isn't one game for the console that has me interested.
That Little Deviants game looks pretty interesting. It was that one that used the back touch panel.

No,not really. I loved the PSX and PS2. I would've gotten a PSP for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep if i had the money. That aside, the gameplay they showed was...dull. But maybe my critism was affected by that song. Bah, forget it, the 3DS is spoiling me.
That song sounds like some lame attempt at cadering to the Apple crowd, its absolutely horrible. How does that 'scream' gaming? It's dull, boring, lifeless and depressing. I don't think even Ninendo has pumped out a commercial more casual and none game-ish as that. It basically sucked the fun right out of the room.
Anyways, I'm just not that interested in it.....No 3D, with touch screen controls which will be put as after thought or just slapped on just to say 'we now can do that Nintendo' Sorry, but better graphics and the inclusing of a 2nd analog stick(yawn, not needed in my opnion, but many gamers will disagree) aren't what I'd call exciting or a real innovation. If it's game line up is anything like the PSP's once again I'll most likely pass.
Does it even come with a stylus? I think the 3DS has the huge advantage at having dual screens, 3D, stylus controls being the main focus, the Handheld VC ect ect.
Resistive touchscreen (DS, 3DS family) and Multi-touch- or whatever they are called (iTouch, iPhone, NGP) have their advantages and disadvantages. I don't think styluses work well with touch screens like the NGP. Going to have to research on that. But that's why there isn't a stylus readily available because it's not needed for the screen where the 3DS, it pretty much is.
As to which one is better- it's all on the individual.

This looks amazing. Seriously. unfortunately, I won't be getting this for a while, as there are still tons of DS and 3DS games I'll want by the end of the year, but I'll definitely keep an eye on this one. It'll most likely end up being my first non-nintendo portable.

Yeah, the song to go with people shooting other things... eh, you know, they should have gone with some classical music or something. The graphics are good, but there really isn't anything new with this system... Besides double joy sticks, but is that really gonna change the way you play the game? And the touch pad on the back was cool, but same thing with the double joy sticks. Looks cool but that thing is huge...
