Topic: Name a Game Only You Have Played

I’ve got one, Rampart on the Snes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else talk about this one. The single player is fine, but the two player vs mode is where it really shines.

Top down view of a field bisected by a river, castle keeps on either side. You choose your starting castle, place cannons, then you have to destroy the opposing player’s castle walls with cannon fire. The next round you have to repair the walls with Tetris pieces essentially. There’s a surprising amount of depth and nuance to a seemingly simple gameplay loop. Best of all, if you win you get to make the loser walk the plank.

I played this with my childhood friend all the time, and he would always win. I can’t tell you the sense of satisfaction I felt when it was finally his turn to walk the plank haha. I still have my cart, but this is one I’d love to see on NSO.
