Topic: Its a Xbox360 worth to get now, or should i wait for the next generation ?

Ok, my 360 died, and i dont know if its worth to invest 250 (or so) in a new one ? my problem, its now that Nintendo announced the WiiU, i believe M$ will announce their new xboxand it should come out in a few years, so its worth to invest ? (i do have my gaming PC but its aging now with some newer big games...)

Well, the next Xbox probably won't hit until late 2013 (or around there) so we still have quite a bit of time to wait on that count. As for the Wii U, you're probably looking at six months to a year after the system releases before the library starts to bulk up. I'd recommend picking up another 360 if you don't want to deal with upgrading your PC.

I think it's better to wait unless your paying $200 or under for it.

Through you could just get a PS3 for $249, or save up for 2012's Wii You.

I'd say go for another 360. Like The_Fox said, it's going to take a while before the Wii U starts getting a decent library.

Buy a PS3 or another 360. It will take quite awhile for the Wii U's library to build up.

Since they have moved up the Stars Wars Special Edition 360 to next holiday season its probably safe to say that it will be a bit till Microsoft announces their next gen system. So in other words you might as well get another 360 now.

I would wait till next-gen. Or at least check if the Nextbox will be backwardscompatible.

Thats pretty asinine as the 360 also has exclusives.

Id say pick up another 360. As nextbox wont be launched until 2013.

Xbox 360 is a great console and still has lots to look forward to. I've really enjoyed mine in the past few years I've had it.

I very much doubt we'll see a new console from Microsoft until 2013, but that's just me.

By nextbox i meant the next xbox.

I assume OP already has a 360 game library, so i don't see any reason why to not get one. It is going to be a couple more years before the "nextbox" comes out. I am biased toward upgrading your PC, but that may not be your thing.
