The original Xbox is the only console after ps1 i never played, and lately I've been thinking about getting one.
I found one for 60 euro (about 80 USD) with 30 boxed games included, some very good ones too.
I'm just not sure, is it worth it?
Yes, if only because the 360's backwards compatibility is limited and there are still some fun games on it that you can't play anywhere else, like Otogi. Not a ton, but certainly quite a few. If you don't have/want a 360, even better.
And if it comes with games, jump on it, dangit! Just be sure to read the listing well to make sure the console is functional, comes with all the cables, won't cost too much in shipping, and well...if it's even legit.
Yes, it should be considered mandatory IMO. The hardware is reliable and easy to find, and the game library is vast and many of the best games can be found for pennies, even complete.

Probably not, I'd say you're not missing out on anything, it has a few good games like fable, and knights of the old republic, but it isn't really worth it

Plus if you want the best versions of games from that gen the Xbox usually had the better looking games.
There is quite a few where they are the best version there ever has or will be.
Like Metal Slug 3 (Port - More frames of animation than the Neo Geo original - dirt cheap - no slowdown at all ever).
(Newer versions are emulations of the Neo Geo).
Streetfighter Alpha 3 (Arcade perfect version. The Dreamcast one although very good isn't. I think the Japanese Saturn one is as well but it is also astronomically expensive).
Shenmue 2 - English Voice track (Unlike the PAL Dreamcast version).

Almost every worth owning Xbox end up releasing on PC so... if you have a decent one, then no. with a decent pc you can get 60fps + much better graphics (not to mention mods to make them even better) compared to the Xbox version
