I thought we had a GoG thread somewhere but I couldn't find it. :/
Anyways, Good Old Games, hereby referred to as "GoG", is a DRM-free online marketplace for old PC, and recently Mac, games, as well as a handful of indie games, and CD Projekt's games such as The Witcher. They currently have over 500 games, many of which are under $10. I've created this thread to talk about games on the service, as well as recent releases and Sales.
So with all that said and done: Wizardry 6 + 7 was recently released on GoG (as well as Wizardry 8) for a mere $5.99! THIS is the release I've been waiting for! Old-school dungeon-crawling at it's finest! I can't wait to play it! I'd be sad that the rest of the series isn't on there, but most of them are far too brutal anyways.
That site is AMAZING for older PC games. After years of trying to get my CD of Alpha Centauri to work in my computer, I downloaded it from there and have had no issues with it.
There are a bunch of old and new Sonic games on a great sale right now on the 360, along with other Sega games like Jet Set Radio, Daytona USA, and others. I got Sonic CD for like 160 points, and I got Sonic Unleashed for $9.99 (Much better than the Wii version for sure!). I already have a bunch of the others on my 360, but there are some great ones.
May I suggest Sonic Generations for $9.99 (Waaayy worth it)? If you like the Adventure games, the first one is also 160 points, and 2 is 400

What does this have to do with GoG? I am confused. :/
I have to admit I have never played Torchlight, although I have been hearing good things about. I do have Diablo III though but the fact that GoG is giving away Torchlight for free I had to scoop it up. I am such a sucker when it comes to a free game.

oo I see why you are confused. That's what I get for not reading the first post.
I didn't know "Good Old Games" was actually the name of a service. I just thought it meant talking about sales and stuff of good old games...yeah that's embarrassing...I'm leaving now. haha.
