Anyone tried this game? It's a horror game about Chuck E. Cheese like animatronics running around at night, and you have to keep an eye on them with the surveillance cameras. BUT, you have limited power for using the cameras and closing the doors around you, so you have to be careful. The idea is kind if something I've always wanted, (A horror game about Animatronics. That's mostly because me and my little sister would often play pretend games about evil animatronics, and they were a lot of fun. ) and this game seems to handle it better than anything I've been able to think up. I'm thinking about buying the game, but I do want to make sure it's clean first. (Like, no swearing or bad jokes or anything like that. [there's a guy who talks to you on phone recordings sometimes, I'm not sure if it's only on the first night or not though] I'm okay if there's a little blood or something, and obviously this is a horror game, so it's not like I'm asking if this game would be rated E if ESRB rated it.)
Saw James (UberHaxorNova) play the first night, man you got to keep on your toes, and the more nights you go through the more scarier it gets apparently, a few said it gets too missed up, but ya a nice few youtubers are playing it now, will continue watching James LP.
I played it and saw my favorite youtuber's play it.It's horror beyond horror and it's so unique. But it's so amazing how this guy can make a animatronics scary as hell.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
@midnafanboy Er, weren't animatronics already horrifying? Also, was there any swearing or anything in it? If not I might consider buying it... Because who doesn't want to induce nightmares?! I know I do!
@mystman12 Swearing? In the game or in the lets plays i saw?But if you mean the game no the only person who ever talks is the guy on the phone, won't spoil anything. You have to buy it too know what i'm talking about, but i will tell you it's scary really scary.
Finally got it! (I had my brother buy it for me because he owed me a few bucks, and I didn't want to spend my own money on it if I ended up being to scared to play it. )
Hm, I guess it's partially subject to personality, but I never found animatronics even remotely creepy. As such, Five Nights at Freddy's just suffers from the Slender syndrome for me: it might be scary for some, but it's completely lost any kind of appeal due to the painful amount of YouTuber's (with the vast majority being amateurs in every aspect) who already covered the game, Scarecam and fake exaggerated screaming included.
I played it on a friend's PC for the first "night", only to see the very same principle for the second. Got bored, quit the game.
This game really did make me jump. However, it's scariness is debatable. Never played a game quite like it and one I would recommend playing over the hallow.

It's a little like Slender. No blood, no violence, at least not out in the open... But the only bad thing is really just dismembered eyeballs. If you're ok with that than it's clean.
