any battlefield fans? i just read that bf3 is being made with the next gen in mind and that it will be easily ported. bad company 2 is the best true fps in my opinion, and i'd love to see the series on cafe. the frostbite engine looks incredible on ps360, imagine it on cafe!

On PS3 and 360 it's coming out much earlier, so I will not wait like many other gamers if it is just a 1:1 copy (in terms of content). I would be much more intrigued with an exclusive GTA V for Project Café though....

I wasn't a terribly big fan of Battlefield 2 but the from what I've seen BF3 looks pretty promising. Let's just hope the multiplayer isn't as easy to exploit this time around.

I do own Battlefield 2 but I have yet to play it. However, at this point I'm willing to root for anything that's not Call of Duty.

i've played only 1943 and bad company 2, and i gotta say they are a far cry from cod. the maps are enormous, you actually use tactics instead of constantly running, it has vehicles, you can actually snipe, and i haven't even played single player . bc2 actually replaced cod in my circle of friends (i never gave in to cod though)

Only played 1943 (pretty good) and BF2 looked cool; I liked how you controlled the UAV around the place, but I'd rather get the next Modern Warfare

You aren't playing the right game if you aren't constantly running. In BFBC2 I could be running for five minutes, get sniped, then start all over again. I agree that Battlefield is better than COD, but that isn't a reason why.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Battlefield 3 will be good on the consoles. But it's going to be pure epic on the PC
