@SirenBanshee Yerp, it should do fine. As well as HA dragalge. I know it's perfectly legal but I don't know if ranked has a problem with it. I wouldn't see why.

I decided to try and build a serpent team of my own cause wynuat. I got this:

Serperior @ Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

• Leaf Storm
• Hidden Power [Fire]
• Dragon Pulse
• Glare/Knock off/Giga Drain/Taunt/Leech Seed

Serperior of course is our MVP special attacking nightmare for other teams. Ferrothorn does wall the rest of the team to death and stops serperior.. talonflame is stopped by the others and so is heatran so fire is the hidden power to go. The final slot is VERY controversal.. taunt will stop setup, giga will save you from dying, missing LS, or running out of LS's PP. Likewise leech seed can provide recovery for the rest of the team helping other bulky pokemon to stall. Knock off will remove their recovery and scarfs but hits nothing in particular. Glare may give setup oppertunities for others and gives steelix less pressure on safely EQing a heatran or something. That last slot is one of those.. "I wish I had this instead for this match" type things which is a shame.

Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 HP / 248 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature

• Coil
• Dragon Tail
• Substitute
• Extreme Speed

Yeah he's a legend but he's not rediculous. Pretty subpar actually.. but on this team he's actually pretty good. Coil lets him boost his accuracy, defense, and attack making him hard to wall break on the physical side. Sub especially making this more difficult and allowing him to take a special hit or two.. or three, pressuring teams even more. Dragon tail shuffles the opposing team's pokemon.. which can be problematic for them because they can't bring in their wall breaker without being shuffled out.. and once shuffled in you're still behind a sub and got Extemespeed to finish the job, unless you decide for EQ for a more reliable heatran answer.. but I doubt heatran will stay in knowing that so boosting dragon tails would just be a better alternative after scaring him out.

Steelix-Mega @ Steelixite
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe

• Gyro Ball
• Ice Fang
• Stealth Rock
• Earthquake

Steelix is the obvious mega, being the only one with a serpent body shape classifaction to get a mega evolution. I didn't want to forego ice fang with lando and gliscor.. but I did forego curse for stealth rocks because there will be some shuffling going on with garde, and it limits talonflame which can be a nuisance to this team. My curse set atleast had wish support but that's not happening here.. you'll easily be killed as you setup.

Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 164 HP / 252 SpA / 92 Spe
Modest Nature

• U-turn
• Scald
• Dark Pulse
• Aura Sphere

TECHNICALLY... TECHNICALLY.. clawizter IS in the serpent body style group so I can stretch the strings He offers some immidiant power and momentum grabbing with u-turn. Ice beam nails some dragons and such. Now, water pulse is stronger than scald but the burn chance is so appreciated with a mostly defensive team like this it's worth foregoing. Dark pulse stops gengar, an absolute menace for this team. 92 Speed EVs speed creeps uninvested bisharp.

Arbok @ Black Sludge
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 192 SpD / 64 Spe
Careful Nature

• Coil
• Rest
• Gunk Shot
• Earthquake
  _{Good lord that image was larger than expect} This is why they run shed shell, rest gives him some nice recovery while waking up hopefully sooner than usual with shed shell. Gunk shot offers an amazing STAB and coil boost his offenses and defensive capabilities. Basicly zygarde v.2

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature

• Ice Beam
• Scald
• Recover
• ???

Milotic is a defensive wall, got recovery, pretty much nothing more to say. That last moveslot I'm kinda debating on.. I don't really know what nonVGC milotics run outside mirror coat but refresh after seeing it on yours looked promising.
