Topic: (NA) Monster Hunter Tri online friends

I'm trying to make some Goldenfish bait I know you have to mix Snakebee Larva with Firefly's I have Snakebee Larva but for the life of me I can't find any Firefly's?

I'm assuming you catch them with the bug net but any time I try it ends up being something else.

Just gotta keep going at the Bug Spots.

@Splat Fireflies are in area 4 (the dark cave area) of D.Island/Moga Woods. Go to the hidden Felyne village area (you have to crawl through a small space to get there) and catch bugs at the butterfly there. You'll see fireflies floating around too so that's a pretty good hint.

Well I screwed up when I created my account. My name was "Subtle", but I misspelled my email address so I was forced to put that "1" there >_>
I was just wondering if there was a way to get rid of/change that accounts email. I`ll try to catch them in the chats then.

Well the tech people came and attempted to fix it. They finished and said it was fixed, so I tested it and still nothing... Seriously, WTF!

If you did the wrong email then the first account probably doesn't exist since nobody activated it, my guess is you could probably just get it changed to Subtle.

Someone know a good way to kill Lagiacrus(offline). I have a bowgun and Great Jaggi armor set.

@Epic Don't use bowguns offline. Really. It's very hard (or at least very slow) to solo with them until you have access to high rank materials, which are only available in the online late game. Use a fire blademaster weapon and evade lots. You could also get an armor set that has higher defense or more thunder resistance. Hit it till it dies and don't get hit.

You typically shouldn't have to prepare that much for offline monsters though.

@HolyMackerel I will try using a switching axe and leave my bowgun only for this fight.

P.S.: I killed Great Jaggi, Quropeco, Rathian, Great Baggi, Royal Ludroth, Gobul, Barroth and Gigginox offline all with my bowgun and my decoy cha-cha so bowguns can be used offline.

@Epic You seriously need a armor upgrade to. Get royal ludroths armor if you can it helps for under water battle's.

Yeah you can kill them but it takes oh so long to bring them down with the bowgun early on.

@Tech101 Im seaching materials for it but im searching a way to keep my skill of Attack up (L) and change my armor.

@ Peach - Your computer is hooked up to that routor right? Is everything working fine with that? Maybe your Wii is the issue and not the routor........

Switchaxes are pretty tough to use, so good luck.

All I said was you're making it really hard on yourself. Of course they can be used offline but it's just not a good idea when other low-rank weapons take down the monsters far faster. Trust me, I've been a bowgun user since I started the game in May. I know and love bowguns.

Also if you can just keep Attack Up (M) or even (S) that should be good enough. The skills on a better armor set will make much more of a difference compared to the difference between M and L.

The Great Jaggi is no more!!! Him and his little friends put up one heck of a fight.

@JayArr I'm pretty sure it really is the router now, I think it somehow got fried maybe? Nothing works when it's hooked up so I'm sure it's not my wii. Either way it'll be awhile... I'll be driving away boredom with EO3 then.

Might go on later...maybe I'll do better this time, lol. Gonna get Peco out of the way and get his high rank armor....then Gobul....then Barroth. xD

@SP: Did you try unplugging your router for a minute or two and plug it back in?
I had a problem like that, twice i think, so I eventually unplugged it and plugged it in later(either that or I pressed the reset button on it). It worked then (I think it was the router and not the modem. Though I'm not completely sure anymore.)
Maybe that'll help you out (Hopefully).
