Call up your internet provider and rage!!! _{or just figure out is wrong from them and get the ball rolling}
Also, go to your Wii Internet settings and scan for a Wireless Connection. You may get lucky and someone near you will have their's unlocked.

so I finally got online, and its a stupid amount of fun. everyone's been super nice with helping out and giving advice. I'm HR6 right now. super n00b.

when will the 2* quests unlock? I've done all the fun ones, but neglected all the item delivery quests.
also, any recommendations for a beginning armor set?

I believe you have to reach a certain HR before the other star quests unlock. As for armor, try Jaggi.

Yeah, decided to play Metroid Prime Trilogy instead...go figure, lol. I think I'm at 33, so I got a bit before it does pop up...can't wait to work on my high rank Rathalos armor again. xD

Good timing because I'm taking a break from the game for a bit. Just a week or so. I have a bunch of things I need to do, and EO3 really has me hooked too.

EDIT: By taking a break I mean I won't be on every day, but I'll be on sometimes.

At least you can go on... I'm here wondering if I can even get it fixed before the 3DS release (that's 6 months from now!!!!) So now I'm just going around feeling absolutely depressed wishing I could go on. Randomly sobbing every now and then.

And where did you get the 6 month estimate from? Your internet service provider must really suck if it takes them 6 months to fix your connection. Usually it's instant once they send someone over, or a day or two if the problem is on their end.

@HMack I know it's just a game, but that game was going to help keep me from buying other game until the 3DS is release (look at the page note of my bl for more about that) _{Also I exagerated about the random sobbing}

The reason why it could take 6 months is because the problem's not on their end so they won't be the ones fixing it, thats why I'm able to type this right now. The problem is a broken router (I think I know how it broke... long story there) and it's a router I had to buy myself. Meanwhile there are no other wireless connections to connect to.
