I've had a while to aquaint myself to the game, and I think I'm ready to play with some equally newbie Monster Hunters.

My username is Edward (ID: WN8PUJ, I'm from the UK, I have WiiSpeak (which I haven't hooked up yet) and a Keyboard (which I've only just discovered fits into the back of my Wii and is typing this message right now.)

I'm aquainting myself to the online world, but I'm happy to start adding and accepting friends - just say you're from nintendolife.

I'm pretty new to the game (it only came out yesterday), HR3, looking for a few people who also have wiispeak to play with as so far most the people I've hunted with don't have it / can't get it to work.

We need to all get online at once so we can add each other, both EU and NA users. So someone give time suggestions.

Chucko - currently only gamers from the same territory can play with each other, so EU and NA players can't team up or add each other as friends. I know that sucks, but it's the way things are, sadly.

Ah. Oh well, maybe capcom might join the two in the future. On a side note, does anyone know where I can find pelagicite ore? I need to get the knight`s lance(the highest iron lance in the game).

Cause what I hear is basically a word not too friendly to post here.

I`ve yet to come across a player who uses wiispeak. I`m doing fine by using the keyboard.

I have Wii Speak, but I won't be using it. I don't do talking on mic, so I'll plug in a keyboard

I think I might be ready to start playing online by tonight (yes it's taken me a while, but I started a new game because I was sucking hard on the first file, and going back through tutorial material helped me pick up all the stuff I missed), so:

I'm disappointed that the EU thread is lagging so far behind the NA one in terms of posts, when I know we European hunters are far better than those across the pond!

I encountered a Gigginox online last night, and followed it up with the typical "run away!" strategy. We've taken down a few Barroths now and I feel we're pretty much sorted as far as he goes, so our next target is Rathian. Bring it on!

By the way, I feel we're incomplete as a team until we have a kick-ass name for ourselves. Ideas, please.

I would add my details but I seem to have some connection problems with my Wii.

It's very rare that I get into a City and it's not only Tri, on the Conduit if I choose Team Reaper it hardly ever connects and I can't find any fights on Tatsunoko vs Capcom... I don't know what the problem is.

Mario Kart works fine though.

LOL.Thanks Pro. I just don't wanna seem like some total noob (which I am ) and drag the rest of the team down. My combat is definetly improving though _slowly. This game rocks.

EDIT: BTW is there any way to change my name? I called myself Paul (that being my real name an' all) but i would like to use my NL name online in case any of you guys are on.

Not unless you start a new character, which is rubbish I know. I wanted to be [NL] James but sadly no dice.
