I had to buy a new battery for my OG Switch. It swelled up so much, it was visible through the casing on the top of the console. I had to buy a new backing for the system too. Not a fun purchase, but yeah. I guess 7 years isn't a bad lifetime for a rechargeable battery.
Recently finished: Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Splatoon 3: Side Order, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD

Shape Suitable, a game by liica, the same company that made Q Remastered and Q2 Humanity. Some of the same principles from the Q series are also here: draw on the screen so the Shapes can move an object or endure an obstacle to the red zone or to defeat an enemy without the drawing touching a Shape.
Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel: a spin-off of Aero the Acro-Bat featuring his rival Zero as playable. This re-release is based on the SNES version. Includes a new Japanese localization under the name Zero: High Flying Squirrel.
By Halloween (October 31st), I hope to get Flipon, Contra Anniversary Collection, Donut Dodo and maybe Sonic Frontiers (Digital Deluxe).
After November 1st, I plan to get Aero the Acro-Bat: Rascal Rival Revenge (a Game Boy Advance port of Aero the Acro-Bat 1 SNES).

Sonic X Shadow.
Not sure how I feel about it yet. Never played generations before, so was excited, but feeling stressed now. I feel I have to get all the red rings and hidden chao before moving on to the next level, which I am finding a bit hard. If you have OCD tendancies, these type of games upset me. I recognize it is an excellent game, and runs really well on Switch though. Might need to give it more time though!
I am liking it more now. Still slightly overwhelmed as there are 10 Challenge levels per zone added in too, but thankfully they are like 2 minute levels. It really does control and perform well though. Feels so much better than the 2d or classic inspired levels from Forces and Frontiers.
Update: Well, I somehow played 7 hours today. So, I guess there is something I must enjoy about it!
Not really MY purchase but rather my brother's. Today he got Luigi's Mansion 2 HD & is allowing me to play it. After an hour or so...it still feels nothing has changed much. I've notice some parts where Luigi can zoom or look through a window or a hole, it's 60 fps in the 3DS version. But the Switch is 30fps.
Kinda weird but it's not my purchase so whatevs. At the very least I didn't buy it. But since I've the 3DS version already at this point, this will be breeze for me.
