As a Switch physical collector, I've played several games, provided to us by several different third party publishers. Over the years I've developed expectations when it comes to certain publishers in this hobby of ours. So I thought I'd just...ramble on about some publishers. What their efforts on the Switch have been thus far, and what I hope to see from them over the course of the Switch's life cycle. 1. Bethesda - Personal bias, it's really not fair. Skyrim is a personal top-ten all-time favorite of mine, and Doom is arguably the best first person shooter on the platform. I hope that Bethesda will eventually contract someone to port a mainline Fallout game to the Switch. Not only Fallout, but also Prey, Dishonored, and The Evil Within. 2. NIS America - I'll admit, their catalog is an acquired taste. They offer games across a fairly wide range of genres. But I think their games have a certain kitsche-cool to them. Anywho, they've been slowly bringing their PS4/PS Vita catalog over to the Switch. I'm hoping to see Danganronpa, The Witch and the Hundred Knight, and The Silver Case on the Switch in the near future. 3. Limited Run / Super Rare Games / Play Asia - Basically, all the smallish publishers who have taken the time and effort to provide digital-only games with a physical variant. So that collectors (like me) can have a box and a cartridge on the shelf. They've only recently begun releasing games on the Switch. But there are hundreds of digital-only games that I'd love to have sitting on my shelf some day. 4. Merge Games - From my perspective, their choices of which games to publish over the past year have been great. I feel as though they've been cherry-picking indie games that have an almost double-AA release quality to them. I don't love them as much as Limited Run Games, but their stock is rising. 5. Square-Enix - One of the few "big" third party publishers (Activision, Take Two, EA, etc) to seriously back the Switch as a platform. They've been doing an admirable job of porting their catalog to the Switch. They're delivering Octopath Traveler next month, a platform exclusive. And they've announced plans to expand studios to focus on additional Switch exclusive games. But enough of my rambling. Who are some of your favorite Switch publishers?

I really hope that they could port some Fallout games. I would love to see a Switch version of Fallout 4, or maybe a triple pack of Fallout 1+2+Tactics remasters or a double pack of 3+New Vegas remasters.

I also hope that they continue to work with Panic Button to make future ports of Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein: Youngblood, or maybe something from their back catalogue, like the Dishonored games.

I would love to see more of their games come to Switch. Prey, Dishonored, Fallout games. Even if it's a remaster of Fallout 3, im good with it. lol
