Chapter 6 is on the shorter side, but I thought chapter 7 was quite long.
@TheJGG@JaxonH
I agree, Monolith Soft outdid themselves when it comes to story and cinematics in XC3.
It's probably the most powerful game, emotionally speaking, I've ever experienced. Even 'The Last of Us' doesn't come close besides its opening moments.
@JaxonH
That burst mechanic surprised me as well. Believe me, you'll want to use it when you go up against Aionios' Strongest. 😬
Xenoblade 3 truly is the best JRPG in my opinion and I've played a ton of them. Everything from the story and characters to the gameplay and world building... it all flows together seamlessly.
@XandertheWise
If I remember correctly, it's the tunnels above the Hillside Ferronis Hulk.
But why don't you activate the quest and turn on quest route? You might need to have Zeon in your party for this quest though.
@XandertheWise
The game does tell you when a quest requires a certain hero by including that hero's icon next to the quest in the quest menu.
@Balta666
Triton's a bit obscure. I don't want to spoil it for others, but have you checked the "Hero Roster" under system? It tells you there what you need to do.
@JaxonH I like to use a mix of both Smash and Burst, but I usually only do a couple of bursts and mainly focus on Smash. I find there are a lot more Smash skills that hit like a truck, and if I use them in a chain attack that single Art sometimes ends up doing more damage than the entire rest of the chain attack. I haven't found any Burst art that does that yet, so it seems more of a supportive thing. At least we can give commands to allies to focus on which combo to go with.

@Mioaionios had a bit of time at lunch break and now i have all hero quests completed!! Any recommendations for 5 star colonies? I cannot find any Yellow conversations or new dialogues... Is it only because I am missing a few of those collectibles cards?
@Balta666
Completing those Collectopeadia Cards for the first time sure helps, but I'd also make sure to revisit each colony with their respective hero in the party.
You can also repeat Collectopeadia Cards for extra affinity when needed, look for overworld battles you haven't done yet and make sure you've send off all the husks in the area. Talking to NPCs marked with a star also helps slightly.
@TheJGG
It’s sad how true that is for the character that seems to mean so much in Mio’s backstory and initial interest in Noah to just be… kind of non-existent in importance, welp, haha.
I keep buying fighting games for some reason, even though I barely got anyone to play against.
Arrived at the Keves Castle Region & liberated Colony 11, and completed whatever side quests popped up from that one. I think the last one was when I had to fight the 3 commanders on the bridge, no wait, it was when I had to go to Maktha Wildwood to retrieve the deserters. Going to infiltrate the castle next.
I know it was probably necessary to keep the rating down, but I was a bit disappointed to see the black blood whenever Cammuravi gouged out his eye, given that Metalface was allowed to have red blood on his claws after stabbing Fiora in the first game. Granted, he's probably not technically human. Given the fire hair & which side he's on, his lineage is probably that of a Blade, and I don't think XC2 ever showed what color their blood is.
@XandertheWise That's the one where you need materials from agnian levnises, right? In the Fornis region, there's a rest spot called the Visura Parkland camp in the top left section of the map. Near that spot, there are agnian and kevesian forces fighting. You can farm materials there for the side-quest. Jumping off after collecting the loot will reset the enemies.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
Anyone know a good place to farm "Glare Augubines"?
I need to collect them for a Colony Iota side quest where you need to gather materials for them to trade with the Tirkins, but I'm not finding that many of them. I know one or two will occasionally spawn in the area around Colony Lambda, but I need 50 of the things.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I have finished the game! I will put as my second favourite (after 2) thanks to the great gameplay and all the quality of live improvments however the story was never to my taste (I would say the worst in the main series imo) where only the end of ch5/ beggining ch6 felt emotionlly interesting but even that moment comes way to early in the story and it would have a much greater impact closer to the end.
In terms of characters I changed my oppinion on the roster quite a lot and In the end I was adoring every moment from Eunie, still loving Mio and surprinsingly fond of Lanz, while Sena felt under developed, Taion still annoying and Noah still the most boring protagonist ever (We went from a guy that yelled way too much in Shulk to one without emotions).
Lastly the final boss fight is way too long and boring. At least the 3 phase one in the first game was fairly different each time (second phase still sucks though)
P.s: let's raise out glasses to the playboy King of name Rex
XC3 would have to really mess up that last chapter for me not to consider this the best game in the series at this point. The gameplay improvements alone make this so much more fun than previous entries.
(We went from a guy that yelled way too much in Shulk to one without emotions).
I was seeing a LOT of emotion out of him in ch. 5. He's just somewhat quiet and reserved, which is a nice change of pace for a series filled with sometimes overbearing personalities.

@Ralizah I understand that but is not my thing and we came from one of my favourite moments in gaming when Rex presents Pyra to his parents. This game lacks moments like that imo.
P.s: regarding final chapter I have mixed feelings as like I said I did not like the final boss that much and found the final dialogues just meh but it has its high notes as well and in general was satisfied with the ending itself
