I'm really excited for SMT V and Octopath Traveller! I own a good amount of Wii U games already so the ports don't excite me too much, might buy DK Tropical Freeze or Hyrule Warriors depending on how much money I have.
If they announce Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem or Pikmin then they can join SMT and Octopath
Kirby and DK should get me through the summer, probably together with Yoshi (since that one probably arrives near or during summer).
I hope for some other ports and perhaps one or more currently unannounced 1st parties after that. Furthermore I'll probably get FIFA 19 if it's not 'stripped' (in comparison to the versions for the other platforms) like this year's edition.
If that won't do, I have a backup list with '17 releases just to make sure my Switch won't catch dust.
A LOT of indies that I missed are coming to Switch, which I'm personally really excited for. Owlboy, Hollow Knight, Runbow, Night in the Woods, etc.
As for major releases, I never played the Bayonetta duo, so I'll be preordering that soon. Looks like an extremely addicting game.
Kirby Star Allies looks amazing, but I can't help but be skeptical after HAL's last two spin-off releases. Hopefully their drop in quality doesn't affect their near consistant streak of great mainline Kirby games.
I never got Hyrule Warriors, so I'll check it out. As for that Tropical Freeze port, I only just picked up the game recently for Wii U, but it was amazing so I think it justifies footing the bill to play it anywhere.
Right now, I have Bayonetta 1 & 2 on pre-order as well as Kirby Star Allies but that is all that is of interest right now on the Switch. Kinda disappointing really.

@Masurao Well it's made by the same dev as those with Bravely Default, so I have faith in the story (And the demo is really good to show the story's beginning, I feel.
(I can't comment on the FF15's story because not out yet for PC)
@Kiolu100 Ya me too! I have Hollow Knight sitting on Steam but now that I know it's coming out on Switch, I'd rather play it there (yey for portability).

Those who have never played Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze before, I envy you. You're in for an absolute treat. Platformers are my favourite genre, always have been and this is right up there with the very best of them. My Switch is crying out for some quality platformers. The Switch has plenty of indie puzzle platformers, 'tough as nails' platformers and Metroidvania's but very few traditional 2D platformers. Rayman Legends is one but I didn't find it to be anything special, I thought it was hugely over rated, just like Origins was. If you only play on PS or Xbox, then I can understand why some believe it to be one of the best platformers ever made,my mate is one of those, but the best Nintendo platformers are in a whole nother league. Donkey Kong TF is in that league and challenging for a top 4 Champions League place.
The release of Kirby can't come soon enough for me. They are generally always of a high standard while not quite being top tier. Every chance Star Allies could be though but even if it's not, it'll still be better than most other non-Nintendo platformers out there.
Have to say Dragon Quest Builders & SD Gundam G Generation (provided it get English subs). Being quite a big nerd, I love my Minecraft and old animé... I think these two games will do very well draining my time from me.
Made the mistake of buying Pokken Tournament today, not that it's not fun... just it's only my second game after Mario Odyssey & I haven't got any friends with a Switch. Kind of hard to get into when you get constantly PUNISHED for even trying online.

For me it's street fighter 30th anniversary collection (switch version) since I miss playing those old games also megaman 11, bloodstained ritual of the night, pokemon (switch version) metroid pirme 4 and dark souls. There might be more games ,but can't remember right now
