I have been playing Faith: The Unholy Trinity and Crow Country. Both are solid horror games, especially Crow Country. The atmosphere is superb, and the graphics look toy-like, almost like a dream. Faith has that hidden lore I love to look for. I'm glad these games were ported to the Switch so I could try them out.

I'm currently playing Faith The Unholy Trinity, Dead Space( remake), Crow Country and Steel Rising.
A post over on the unpopular opinions thread got me thinking about series which sold 'best' on Switch. Since Switch is (essentially) the best selling console, it makes sense there are a lot, but there are some major exceptions.
Nintendo series where the top-selling game of the series is the Switch version:
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
3D Zelda
Smash
3D Mario
Mario Party
Splatoon
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Golf
Mario Tennis
Kirby
Metroid
Fire Emblem
Pikmin
Xenoblade
Clubhouse Games
Series where a Switch game exists but isn't the best seller:
Sports (Wii/Switch)
Pokemon
2D Mario
fitness games
Brain age
2D Zelda
Mario Strikers
Mario and Sonic
Donkey Kong
Yoshi
Warioware
Big Brain Academy
Tomodachi
Of course a few big series like Nintendogs, Mario baseball, star fox, rhythm heaven, warioland, etc. simply aren't on Switch.
Sonic (and Shadow) Generations is absolutely fantastic on Switch. 30 fps but runs without a hitch in both handheld and docked mode from what I've seen so far. Outside of Unleashed Project this is probably going to replace the PC version for me.
So glad to finally have this on the go - I've been waiting for this for 7 years at this point. Really amazing that the Switch can continue to impress me in 2024.
I want to download archived games in new micro SD card, or games that are not in any SD card I have. So how do I sort games from ones that are on an SD card already to ones that are not. If I take out the SD card with maybe 100 games in it, will the switch show the games on another SD card, when using new SD card.
Anybody here play Furi? Came out awhile ago, but I picked up a copy at a game store the other day.
Essentially a boss rush, twin-stick shooter combined with some twitchy melee combat. Took me about 4 hours to beat, some of the bosses were quite tough, but overall a unique and fun game.
I'm getting annoyed now... I noticed that a few of my downloaded Switch games (Tetris Effect Connected and Sonic Superstars) take so long to load after starting them from the home menu. I especially don't remember this happening with Tetris Effect when I first got that game. I did some research, and after some experience, it seems like my microSD card is the culprit. (If it helps to know, most of my downloaded games are on my microSD card.) I followed this article. I moved Tetris Effect from the microSD card to the internal storage, and the long load times are totally gone, so looks like I'll have to get another card. It also states that A2 cards are recommended, and that they shouldn't be bought from Amazon. Anyone else have an A2 microSD card for their Switch, and if so, do they work good? Thank you in advance for your help.

Please ask for my Switch FC if you want to add me. Thanks!
@MarioVillager92 Can't comment of the speed of the cards as I don't have any issues with mine, but I always thought the general advice was do buy cards from Amazon to avoid counterfeits, just make sure they are actually sold by Amazon, and not from a third party seller. And stick to reputable brands like SanDisk etc.

@Magician I assume it will be a quiet one like the 3 month report in August was. It will be interesting to see how some of the recent games sold though.
I used the test speed option on switch which is 5.5mbs DL, when downloading Fortnite ( 14 GB ). But I tested the DL speed of my internet on a phone and it reads 60mbs DL. How is this. Is there anything I can do. Difficult to figure out what's wrong
@dmcc0 Thank you. I looked at Amazon just now and unfortunately all the SanDisk ones I looked at are sold by third parties. Is Samsung a good microSD card brand? I've seen one that is both shipped and sold by Amazon.
