@Ryu_Niiyama
A couple tips to really make the picture and settings the best. I did TONS of research when I got mine.
1) Navigate to Picture > Select Mode and with "Select Mode" highlighted, use the remote to type 1113111. This enters a secret menu that allows you to change the Colorimetry to the new BT2020 setting. This will make colors look SO freaking good, but you also need to dial in the color depth (see #2)
2) Navigate to Picture > Advanced Settings > Color and set Color Depth to 38, and Color Gamut to Native
3) Navigate to Picture > Advanced Settings > Brightness and set OLED Pixel Brightness to 95, Contrast to 90, Screen Brightness to 50, Gamma to 2.2 and Black Level to Full edit: It is absolutely IMPERATIVE that you set your Switch to match the Black Level Full!!! On Switch, navigate to System Settings > TV Settings and set RGB Range to "Full Range". When the tv and Switch don't share matching settings, it either crushes blacks or washes them out.
4) Navigate to Picture > Advanced Settings > Clarity and set Sharpness to 40, Super Resolution to Medium, Noise Reduction to Auto, Smooth Graduation to Medium and, this is super important to help smooth motion and is the reason we crank up OLED Pixel Brightness to counter this- set TruMotion to User Selection Medium.
5) Navigate to Picture > Advanced Settings and activate FILMMAKER MODE Auto Start. This ensures the correct Picture settings when watching movies and film (our above settings are glorious for video games but most ppl prefer FILMMAKER MODE for film)
6) If you're using a soundbar or other sound system, make sure you navigate to Sound > Sound Out > Use Wired Speaker and select HDMI(ARC) Device (unless you don't use eARC, in which case just select what you use- headphones, optical, etc)
7) If you're using a soundbar or other sound system, make sure you navigate to Sound > Advanced Settings and set Digital Sound Output to Pass Through, and activate eARC Support.
8) Navigate to General > Game Optimizer and activate VRR & G-Sync as well as AMD FreeSync Premium, as well as Low Latency mode. You can also adjust OLED Motion Pro here (we set to medium earlier). I recommend activating the Game Dashboard when here as well.
9) Navigate to navigate to General > AI Service and disable everything you see. We don't want the TV auto dimming and stuff like that.
10) Navigate to General > Devices > HDMI Settings and activate SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC), then enter the HDMI Deep Color menu and select 4k. This will need to be done for each individual input for whatever reason.
11) Navigate to Support > OLED Care > Device Self Care > Energy Saving and set Energy Saving Step to Off. Otherwise the TV auto dims, and that's not something you want when using a TV.
12) Navigate to Support > OLED Care > OLED Panel Care and activate Screen Move and Care Recommendations to help prevent burn in over long time periods. Also set Adjust Logo Brightness to High.
13) SUPER SECRET TIP HERE!!! Back completely out of the menu, and mash the mute button over and over until a secret menu shows on the right hand side. Deactivate "Show LG logo when turning off the tv"
BONUS TIP #1: You will start getting notifications for things when turning the tv on, and it will seem like a lot. But if you delete them they'll stop showing up over and over. Once you've seen a few, navigate to General > System > Additional Settings > Notifications and delete everything you see.
BONUS TIP #2: You will also get ads that show on the bottom of the screen turning it on. Which is ridiculous. Only way to disable them completely is navigate to General > System > Location and set Zip Code to 00000, and set LG Services Country to "Others". This will disable the Disney+ button on the remote (or it opens in a browser instead of app since it can't detect location) and you might not be able to update firmware. So I recommend fully updating firmware first, then doing this afterward if you get tired of the ads like I did. Alternatively you could just disconnect from the internet but I use Netflix and stuff, so I didn't wanna go that route.
BONUS TIP #3: To disable the app bar auto launching when turning on the TV, which can be a bit laggy, navigate to General > System > Additional Settings > Home Settings and disable Home Auto Launch and Home Promotion.

@JaxonH I will screenshot those tips for later. Thank you.

At this point i still wish that those FF remasters would be ported to other systems like switch, i imagine being less demanding that they would be more viable than a lot of their other games.
Though with a theoretical switch 2 i do hope that we get to see ports of things like the new star ocean and a bunch of other games that weren't viable.
Bayonetta 3 might just be one of my favorite video games of all time.
The more I play it, the better it gets. And that's saying something, because it was already extremely good, even better than Bayo2 which I've long regarded as the best action game ever made.
There are some games that are just so incredibly good, all the time, every nano-second you're playing, you can't help but be astonished.
I can't believe how good this game is. It's essentially flawless. There's nothing I dislike about it. Absolutely nothing. Playing as Bayonetta is the most intense fun I've had in years, playing as Viola is surprisingly fun too, using block to slow time instead of dodge. Jeanne levels are super interesting with 2D stealth, and the boss fights are all over the place. Insane creativity.
I'm seriously going to need to re-assess my top 10 list, maybe even my top 5. Cause this game is freaking legendary

I wouldn't recommend forcing bt2020. The reds and brown are totally obnoxious this way. Instead just crank up the normal color settings to around 90.
@Budda
I've been using it for a while now. I think it looks incredible. Reds and browns look excellent just like everything else. Unless you're watching standard definition content, BT2020 is the way to go, imo.

@JaxonH i still getting used how Viola plays, her timing for Witch Time is hard to do, maybe i too used to it how Witch Time work with Bayonetta, yes Bayonetta 3 is amazing and is my GOTY for this year.
@Giancarlothomaz
Same. I'm not quite as good with her, but it's just a different playstyle and takes practice. In one of the challenge rooms you had to keep a combo going with Viola and hit 5,000 pts on an undying humunculus enemy that charged and acted like a bull. At first I kept failing but eventually got it. It helped teach me quite a bit on how to use Viola properly.
I'm still learning and improving, but I can tell it's just a skill issue. Part of it is getting R into muscle memory to block, since I'm so used to dodging with ZR for Bayonetta.
Bayonetta 3 is so under rated it boggles my mind- even at 88 it just doesnt reflect its true value. This game should have an aggregate score that smokes the last two entries. If the first two were 90 and 92- this should be at a 94 all day. Yet somehow it's the lowest scoring of the 3. I think when Wii U was around, some journalists had less of an issue acknowledging Bayonetta 2 as a masterpiece because they didn't feel threatened. But with Switch being the new global market leader, I think it's harder for some of them to acknowledge Bayonetta 3. This game is not just a little bit better than Bayo2, it's a full generational leap in gameplay. Superior in every way. This game makes Elden Ring feel straight boring by comparison (not to knock ER but for as much praise as it received, this game is just better). Granted, I've never been too into Souls games, but I've heard multiple ppl who previously regarded Elden Ring as their GotY say Bayonetta 3 is just flat out better. And I agree 100%.
But irrespective of whether it gets its proper due from critics, I'm just glad it's still #1 on the eShop and #58 on Amazon Best Sellers list, even 10 days after launch. And that's after spending a month in the top 20. This game is showing serious legs. Far more than past entries. Definitely more than Astral Chain or the Bayo1/2 Switch port. I think this game will safely crush 2 million sold. And may even make a run for 3m.
@Ryu_Niiyama A game experience has to be pretty degraded for me to consider getting it on anything other than Switch at this point. If it comes to that, I'm more likely than not to just skip it.
Can't imagine Octopath won't run well enough, even if it'll look smoother and higher res on other platforms.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
@JaxonH true Bayonetta 3 deserved a 94/95 on it Metascore,but the Gamer media care more about performance/graphics and are angry that Bayonetta 3 is a Switch exclusive, they don't care if this game is good or a masterpiece in the case of Bayonetta 3(they are a bunch of fanboys downplaying Nintendo games and wishing Nintendo go third party like Sega, so they can play a Mario/Legend of Zelda game on they PlayStation/Xbox).
@jump true, but i took some time to reflect and realized, that i was i was exagereted in regards to Bayonetta 3 perfomance.
I'm quite sure actually playing the game helps refine one's perspective.
Game runs great. Think in 20 hrs I can only recall 2 times I noticed an ever so slight hiccup, just for a microsecond. Analysis really has a way of portraying things as being worse than they are. It doesn't help that DF calls practically everything on Switch "disappointing".
Bayonetta 3 runs well and looks good docked and handheld... it's not perfect but it's close enough you don't really notice. Disappointing. Persona 5 Royal released and it looks great on Switch, runs flawlessly, everyone loves it... except DF. They say it's disappointing. Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope released and it looks great, runs good and is notably expanded in scope. But you already know. DF says it's disappointing.
When you constantly spew that type of rhetoric for quality games, telling ppl what opinion they should conclude, it's no wonder so many ppl get up in arms. I guarantee if they didn't exist and ppl just played these games for themselves, there wouldn't be any issue.

@Ralizah same. I’m finding most of the experiences I am looking forward to are either available on switch or exclusive to switch. Been a lot of great support.
