Topic: The Nintendo Switch Thread

I have tried. I have tried so hard not to really, really need ARMS in my life.

But I need it so bad...the killer apps for me are rolling in now...

I have ARMS on preorder, whether I buy it or not will depend a lot on the Global Testpunch. Given I was able to get the special edition of Shadows of Valentia, I could do with not liking ARMS enough.

One thing I want from E3 is dates for some of the upcoming indie games. There's quite a few higher-profile indie games scheduled for release this summer that need dates. Stardew Valley, SteamWorld Dig 2, Shantae Half-Genie Hero, Dandara, Sine Mora EX, Battle Sports Mekuru, Battle Chasers Nightwar, etc. Still need dates for the Switch version of Yooka-Laylee and RiME. Then there's the delayed Pocket Rumble and Shakedown Hawaii.

Also need dates for Namco Museum and Sonic Mania.

....Well, seeing how GameStop DID lower the price a bit on the bundles...I think at this point I might as well go for that. Only problem is, should I go for the Zelda (guess I'm fine on replaying Breath of the Wild anyways, lol) and trade in the Wii U version? Or go for Mario Kart, although MK8 did get boring fairly quickly for me...so, I dunno. Should I go for Zelda?

EDIT: Oh yeah, in case I missed anything, was there anything said about an Arms bundle? I would go for that instead.

What about getting Just Dance and Skylanders then?

Anyways yeah this is a tough choice...I feel like I should give MK8 another chance (the battle mode or lack of classic battle wasn't the cause of boredom). Ugh...why isn't there an Arms bundle?! xD

No Arms bundle, but I think Japan is getting a Splatoon 2 bundle in July. If they announce it for the west, I'll have to decide whether to get the neon+ Mk bundle my local store has or wait and see if the new bundle appears here. I liked that pink joy con...

@Joeynator3000 If you have to choose and you obviously don't have local people to play with go with Zelda. Might as well get value out of the Wii U version while you can. Too bad they can't do a system to system transfer of that zelda save.

Well my sister wants me to get Mario Kart, but at the same time I can get some money out of the Wii U version of Zelda....Ugh. >.< lol

@Joeynator3000 And here I thought you said nobody cares about your gaming habits. Does you sister have a car?

@Spoony_Tech No she's not gonna take me to a store early in the morning, she likes video games, but barely plays them. I think she just wants to play the game again, even though she rarely played to begin with.

I'm low on money to begin with, my mom is helping me with buying the system if I do find it. As long as I pay her back soon...lol. And yeah, my life is just...bleh.

So the Nintendo Spotlight will at least be 30 minutes, for a maximum of 60. I think it's gonna be something around 45-50, as usual with the Digital Events

Yeah I think they're just guessing, it'll be about 40 or 50 minutes.

I am hoping for FE Footage or hands-on. I mean it is Musou so nothing will be earth shattering but I really just want to see the game.

I'm just saying this because I recently got into it, but have it feature Rick and Morty. lol

Or the completely random idea of a Monopoly board that characters are playing. After all, it'd be very meta to see Nintendo characters playing Nintendo Monopoly, right?

If Nintendo did a Rick and Morty thing like Joey showed, it would be so amazing. Seeing that in the show was so memorable.
