Topic: Testify as to how and why the Switch is your all-time favorite platform.

Is it possible for guys to stay on topic here. There is a chitchat thread if you want to talk about other things other then the thread topic.

Only thing stopping the Switch being my all time favourite platform is performance. There's some games that are miracles by even functioning on Switch, like XC3, Breath of the Wild, Rocket League, et cetera.

But there's some games that are disasters, and there's only so much Switch can do. Having a performance-heavy console to fully appreciate the technical capabilities of video games this year, is useful because it doesn't limit me to artstyles and gameplay created out of limitation. Through a PS5 I can enjoy games that push hardware to the limit, like Cyberpunk, Gran Turismo, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, to name a few. Open worlds, beautiful graphics, photorealism, amazing performance... they're rarer on Switch.
