I'll be holding out hope for a Pro, but even then, I may pass on that if it doesn't bring anything truly new to the table. I'm perfectly happy with my launch Switch! Happy gaming!
wow, I am amazed a Debbie Downer is really scrapping the bottom of the bucket and already Trolling a Pro - that is a sad state your in now. Some or most have upgrade to the new v2 update Switch so we ourselves can be Happier Gaming. After your Switching Days and when you get a better outlook for Nintendo Switches you can be welcomed back into the fold.
@Fulham2019 I wont recommend the Lite to anyone. As far as I am concerned it is a strictly inferior product. I just don't buy into the idea that people would not even want the option to play on a TV, ever. For those concerned with price, you can buy a used Switch pretty cheaply too. The real Switch has swappable controllers, a larger screen, and can play 100% of Switch games - there are a few the Lite does not support.
But I suppose if you honestly don't care about any of that, then the Lite is fine. Because the Switch has an absolutely stellar library of games that keeps growing! You'll never lack for choices on the Switch.

@Heavyarms55 Some Switch games lend themselves to better gaming experiences on a HDTV or a large monitor to game on. That is the nature of the Switch but for pure portability the Lite will fit that need. There are those Docked/Portable fans and those whom want a truly Portable experience for which the Lite will fit. Who knows maybe future Lite may come with the upgrade or update USB-C that can dock for that option should things go that way. I'll leave that up to the buyer to choose now that they have two options Switch Or Switch Lite.

I have owned my switch for 2 years and have never, not even once, put it in the dock - and I have no plans to ever do so. Mobile is perfect for me. So while odd, we do exist
I chose to do the v2 upgrade instead of lite because I wanted the larger screen, my hands are big so less fatigue and swappable joy cons in case of drift
Hey always an interesting read (it's good to see the thread continuing to create interest!) and thanks for all putting your opinions forward. I don't think I would miss not being able to play this on console. I get that fix (like I sad in my first post) through my PS4 and I don't get as much enjoyment as I used to.
I went away yesterday to Canterbury and the train was full each way but I didn't mind as I took my Lite with me to play Zelda.
Mario Kart seems a little repetitive at the moment? Play a 4 round series against the computer so what am I missing out of here? Is it the online aspect? It's fun but not sure it's £40+ pounds worth of fun!
@Fulham2019 Regarding single player MK8, I liked learning all the tracks, working to get three star ratings on all MK8 cups(and MK7). That took a while to get them. 15+ hours, I think. And unlocking Mirror tracks & 200cc was fun. 200cc seems ridiculous at first, but you can win once you get the hang of starting your drift turns earlier. I didn't expect to like the single player campaign, but I did. But, if you're not feeling it, you're not feeling it. I can respect that.

The great thing about Nintendo 1st party games is that they hold their value much better than you’d expect. You can probably sell Mario Kart on eBay and get pretty much all of your money back.
Thanks for saying you hope Leeds go up mate. Its been a tough 15 or so years. I like Fulham and really enjoyed watching them get to the Europa Cup final a few years back with Roy Hodgson. Hope things improve for them.
Yeah that was an incredible fixture, i watched it on telly. I was at Elland Road for the Champions League games against Barcelona and AC Milan the year we got to the semis. Yeah, you're right about Bamford. We need a proper regular goalscorer. I hope Fulham get themselves up the table. You used to have some great players with Damien Duff, Clint Dempsey and Bobby Zamora
@Fulham2019 I'm late but I also bought a Lite for my commute. The screen is too reflective like in the original Switch but everything else is better than the original Switch for handheld play. It's light, robust, comfortable to hold and it has a D-pad.
