I REALLY want hyper light drifter, but I don’t want the collectors edition. I’ll buy it if that’s all there’s gonna be, but would rather not as I don’t care for the huge boxes full of useless stuff for the most part. Any idea if Best Buy will be getting these same boxes or just a standard?
Gal Gun and Azur Lane: Crosswave are now available on AmazonNA. Meh, I wouldn't be quick to spend $50 on either game. I think both will receive significant price drops inside a year after release. Hard pass for me until then.
Yeah, stupid expensive indeed. The $150 iam8bit asked for the Ori CE felt fine because of what's being included in that CE. But here there's an artbook, cloth poster, and a figurine. The $250 asking price feels like a $150 upcharge.
@Magician
That's stupid expensive, for that price they probably will do a standard release like they did with Untitled Goose game or the two Ori titles.
I'm not liking this trend of "announce collector's edition first, maybe a standard release later if any".
If any of you happened to order the extra sets of trading cards with LRG's run of Shantae and the Seven Sirens, and you opted to buy 4 packs to get guaranteed gold cards of each unique card, there's a good chance you didn't get what was promised.
I had this issue and contacted LRG support about the matter, it was apparently quite a prevalent enough issue that they're prepared to send you the gold cards you didn't receive as expected, free of charge without needing to bundle it with any orders awaiting fulfilment.
Looking forward to ordering Rivals of Aether anyway, but will wait a few weeks to see what I can bundle it with. Orders close January 10th 2021, so there's a chance I could order it together with one of their new years deals.
I haven't found a clear answer searching around, so can anyone say what is the deal with the Ori physical games? Are they available separate, together for a reasonable price, and/or easily accessible? Amazon appears to have only Blind Forest while iam8bit.com seems to only have the bundle of the two of them for like $7000. I'm just wondering because they are on sale right now on the eShop, but I prefer physical when possible. And by easily accessible, I mean are they limited before they are gone forever like with LRG and the like or are they always around (preferably at Amazon or Best Buy or something, but even just always on iam8bit's site is fine, too).
I try to support M2 whenever possible. Releases like ESP Rade and the Sega Ages series on Switch are great. But their next release, the Aleste Collection. $60 for two Game Gear romz and two Master System romz? Ehhhhhhhh, no thank you.
Edit: Correction, GG Aleste 3 is a new Game Gear game being developed by M2 for the release of this collection. But still...I think the asking price is a bit too steep.
@Magician shmup fans are as hardcore as they come, they will bite. Personally with the amount of quality shmups in my Switch collection already I can easily let this compilation of titles pass me by..
Edit: Speaking of Sega ages these are my comfort food games, Landstalker was my #1 childhood escapism for a long time. Seriously love that game! It's a shame the didn't include the Wonder Boy games.
