Prime Day(s)

Looking forward to taking a peek after work, but I assume I already own most of what I'd consider worthwhile. Still...should be interesting.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,555 games (as of March 31st, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

@Magician
I grabbed a PEGI copy of Coffee Talk 1+2 for just £21, I had my eye on it on videogamesplus but never went for it.
I've got the Strictly Limited Games version of the first title.

@WaveBoy
The art from the Strictly Limited Games version is a little better, but not by much.

The characters look a bit unhinged to me.

I thought about picking up Jujutsu Kaisen, but then I saw how it's one of the lowest rated games released this year.

Kemco are on their eighth volume of 4-pack collections?!

I cant...I can't....I can't keep up.

@MarioBrickLayer
Yeah, got the email too, really bad news.
Luckily my own login for that site doesn't share any passwords anywhere else, but it's still a bother.

Premium Edition Games had another direct last night, I skimmed it and I didn't really notice if there was any new announcements, but they did open pre-orders for Curse Crackers: For Whom the Bell Toils.
PEG has a penchant for wasting everyone's time with unnecessarily long presentations and failing to just summarise the availability of new physicals.

Yeah, my passwords differ from site to site. Names and addresses compromised? Meh, I'm sure publishers share that info every time you agree to a EULA. More than anything else my RAG password will have to be changed.

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos coming from Pix'N Love and LRG distribution.

Not...a great game.

But since I'm an SNK fan I will be purchasing a copy from LRG on general principle.

SLG delays the Switch version of Ray'z Arcade Chronology into....TBD.

They're becoming more and more like First Press Games with every passing day.

Yeah, the email they put out about fulfilment today only mentioned a single release, the PS4 version of Ray'z Arcade Chronology on August 21st.
At least they're actually delivering on anything now, First Press still hasn't delivered a thing in forever.
Coincidentally, both of these companies operate in Germany so I wonder if there's some complication they share?

Another company I'm waiting on pre-orders from would be 1Print Games, which I think may be part of Leoful but not sure?
They only release like 3 games a year though, and some of their stock is sold through Play-Asia.
I got the triple bundle of In Other Waters / Sky Racket / Slap City, and there hasn't been updates on Slap City for a long while.

If they release anything, I will have confidence they are recovering from whatever they're not telling us. It takes a lot to lose my confidence. FPG tried really hard and they succeeded. One year of figuring out how to not go out of business... In the limited print industry, that doesn't phase me anymore.

Same.

Just waiting patiently.

Pix'n Love Publishing just opened their pre-orders for SNK VS. CAPCOM SVC CHAOS.
The super expensive deluxe edition appears to already be sold out, whilst the more affordable collector's and standard editions are still available.

LRG hasn't opened their pre-orders yet, I expect they'll probably do that Tuesday next week as they often do.
Their editions probably won't include the lovely Neo Geo Shock Box style packaging though.

I just happened to be perusing VGP last night and I see a preorder for a Cat Quest trilogy that wasn't posted until today, the release date of Cat Quest 3! I have messaged Play Asia and VGP to hopefully cancel the double pack and the third game, respectively, so I don't have to pay 50% more for two carts instead of one.

Did we know about this trilogy? Just seems like a weird coincidence that VGP posts it the exact day cat quest 3 gets released.

@Grumblevolcano Thank god, I was almost caving and going to buy the one for £81 on Amazon, still £65 hopefully comes with some kind of manual, but doubt it

It's nice to see this thread come back to life today! I guess there'd just been a dearth of news to share.

That Cat Quest Trilogy is tempting, though I did buy the "Totally Pawsome" Pack of the first 2 games at some point in the past. I'll have to consider getting the Trilogy, especially if it's the only way to get the 3rd game on a cartridge.

As for the FF Pixel Remaster, back around the time it was originally announced, SqEnix abruptly closed preorders for the game in the US and so I picked up a standard edition from Asia. I didn't think they would grace us with a reprint, but it's great news for the many who missed out or held off.

Now somebody please announce a Volgarr the Viking 1 + 2 pack and I will be happy!
Oh, and firm release dates for Marvel vs. Capcom and for R-Type Tactics I & II Cosmos, too, please...

Why did it take Square Enix so long to give this the proper international retail release it deserved?
In any case, glad it's happening, and this edition will probably have the latest updates on the cart.
The Asia region one that many of us will have already imported only have v1.0.1 for FFVI, whilst a v1.0.4 update has since been available to download.

There is a listing for Cat Quest Trilogy on Amazon UK, but listed as currently unavailable.
