@MarioBrickLayer
I was trying to ride out the year without shopping for myself, but Red Art’s deals were too tempting.
I picked up Sir Lovelot and Gunborg: Dark Matters at half off, and Mayhem Brawler at 25% discount (I can’t resist a decent belt-scrolling beat ‘em up).
Hopefully I’ll get some quiet time to play them later this winter.

I played Gunborg earlier this year, it's great!!

That’s great to hear! Thanks for sharing your impressions of it. I’ll look forward to trying it that much more.
I’d heard of all 3 games (Gunborg, Sir Lovelot, and Mayhem Brawler) somewhat in the past, and after seeing some footage and reading some opinions, I felt confident they’d be worth importing.

@Teksetter I loved the graphics and sound track. I thought there was a few difficulty spikes, but I 100% completed the game. Enjoy!!

A couple more Atari "recharged" double packs coming from LRG. If I didn't have nostalgia for Atari 2600 and these games I'd call these offerings a grift. Because we know they could fit more of these games on a single cartridge but...more volumes = more dollars.

But they're numbered releases, so I'm in.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,555 games (as of March 31st, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

@Magician - Speaking of numbered releases; LRG has been all over the board in their numbers recently. Since LRG3 presentation, the gaps have gotten bigger, with Atari Recharged being #223 and #224. That leaves 199, 202, 203, 209, 216, 217, and 219-222 all gapped.

Even filling in their announcements that were left, like Arzette and Shantae, they're looking to have trouble getting their ducks in order.

I just wanna know where Gex is, man.

LRG3 has a bad habit of announcing stuff that doesn't show up in the following year.
It took several years for Night in the Woods to materialise, though there was a tragic reason for that.
Still no word on the physical release of SUPERHOT.

@Paraka Yeah, I'm not sure what combination of events happen for LRG to have such gaps in their numbered releases. Box art not yet finalized? LRG still in negotiations but they announce it as though the deal is sealed? I'm looking at you, Superhot. Superhot was announced during LRG's E3 event back 2021 but has yet to happen.

@RupeeClock It feels like it depends a lot on who's working on it. This also isn't the only N64 era game I want to play on Switch so badly. Lookin at you Glover.

Yes, the original software developer is a big factor in the physical release too, with many opting to get the game as complete as possible before a print run, so that no updates should ever been necessary.
That was the main ethos of Special Reserve Games, and why Gato Roboto got a reprint when they shipped copies with a game-breaking bug that required an update, or why Broforce took so long to finally go to print.
This doesn't seem to apply to Cult of the Lamb though, which is getting further new content updates after the SRG print, which was already delayed for content releases that didn't get included in the wider retail releases.

There have been annoying fringe-cases where the physical print has an update that does not exist digitally, and yet it shares a title ID with the digital version. As a result, it can make the digital version unplayable when you've played the physical version. I've got two titles affected by this issue, Snake Pass, and Fox N Forests.

I haven't experienced any games that have been rendered unplayable, but that does explain the few odd cases where sometimes a software update is triggered, resulting in the physical version going BACK a version or other weird anomalies.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

Gigabash is coming from Limited Run. Anyone know how it is? It looked like a decent update to War of the Monsters, but I've heard conflicting things, especially the Switch version.

As a fan of kaiju and giant mecha I was interested somewhat in Gigabash in principle, but the art direction just didn’t appeal to me. Like these supposedly behemoth creatures are dashing and jumping around like capering leprechauns! The trailer just didn’t impart a proper sense of scale or mass for these titans.
Though if they put a bunch of Ultraman kaiju in there, I might be interested.

Update for Mindseize physical if you backed in on kickstarter

If you didn't

Hi everyone and apologies for being so silent. The truth is there has not been anything to update and Kamina Dimension has not even existed for over a year now. And for at least 2 years it has been literally just one person (that is me) trying to keep things going on our side, very part-time.

As we have stated in the past and in the comment section of this campaign, we did our part of the job and it has for long been all up to only First Press Games, and they are still taking their long-ass sweet time with the physical release.

One might be very sceptical about the whole release, but there has been occasional, albeit sloooooow progress. The reason I'm writing this update is, that it now looks like that they are actually starting the production of the game cards soon. A patch that they/me had in works for a couple of years was finally deemed as the final patch and the version that will be on the game card. They even managed to release that patch 1.20 for the digital version, which means the game is getting an update 2 years after the last patch, who would have believed?

The patch basically has a tons of bugfixes and more/improved localizations. Also a couple of other improvements that I came up with with my limited time I could spend on the game.

Anyways, long story short. There is still unfortunately nothing concrete. But first time in years it looks like (and I am being assured) that the physical version of MindSeize is actually starting production soon.

I just wanted to write to you guys as it's honestly been a disaster, albeit completely out of our hands. I cannot promise, that the physical will indeed end up coming soon. I'm just hoping so from the bottom of my heart. Sorry about all of this, it's not quite how we imagined things to go.

Cheers anyways,

Kamina Dimension Skeleton Crew.
