Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on my June 2022 pre-order for the initial release from LRG.
My fault for ordering the classic edition along with a bunch of other things, though.
@RupeeClock I have mixed feelings about this DLC...it's always great to get more content, but I bought the Limited Run steelbook edition and now it's not complete on cart.
Hah, turns out LRG are opening pre-orders for the Shredder's Revenge DLC physical release today too.
I don't think they previously announced it at all, all they had in "coming soon" was the TMNT soundtrack stuff.
@Magician
Whoa, I didn’t watch the Japanese Direct yet and didn’t realize they were doing an all-in-one physical edition of MK8! But the cart lacks Stage 6? Why? Just why?? This seems botched.
Was it a cart size issue? Or maybe Nintendo JP chose to rush this one out before they announce the Super Switch and MK9 next year? Only time will tell…
Flawed as it is, I might still decide to get this expanded edition. I could just give my kids my old version then. It’s hard to decide!
Will you be giving it a pass now?
Edit: Just checked Amazon JP and they do confirm additional download needed for Stage 6. Also, street date is Oct 6th - they really are rushing this right out!
The site might not be working properly, or it's possible they've sold out already.
Edit: Just tech issues, got my copy successfully ordered after trying a Private Browsing window!
The Jurassic Park Collection released by Limited Run Games has been expanded to include the two versions of the games released on the SEGA Mega Drive...Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park Rampage Edition...
@MarioBrickLayer
Yeah, that's unmistakably Relic Hunters Zero in the top there.
That's curious as Special Reserve Games did a US physical run for Relic Hunters Zero and Kardboard Kings, as two separate titles. It's one of the few non-Devolver games they published.
I wasn't interested in ordering them at the time, and unless Whispering Willows interests me, I probably won't get this one from Super Rare Games either.
That said I don't skip that many SRG releases, they're usually quite strong picks.
Pre-orders will stay open until October 18th with a limit of 2 per customer (so it might not be open pre-order or they might manufacture additional stock to match demand?)
P.P.S - I was all set to place a preorder for Castle Crashers Deluxe (great game, I have a digital copy), but was held up by the fact that there's no Paypal or Amazon Pay. I loathe giving out my cc info if I can avoid it. Just good olde fashioned paranoia.
