I didn't see anything here for Super One More Jump. I had an opportunity to play it a day early and I have to say it's a lot of fun. For fans of simple to learn but hard to master games!

"Super One More Jump is jumping onto the Nintendo Switch system with 140+ levels of hand crafted rage inducing frantic levels, 10 fun filled pixel themes and exclusive 2-4 player modes.

The game has simple to learn one button controls. With hard to master levels. Test your muscle memory, concentration and sanity!

We’ve also handpicked our fave pixel artists to contribute to the game: Toby Dixon(@tbdxn) | Ilija Melentijevic (@iLkKke) | Cocefi (@chickysprout) | Sven ‘ptoing’ Ruthner (@the_ptoing) | Mister Hk (@mr_hk_) | Stephane Boutin (@JGSBoutain) | Helm (@helm_ll) | Anders Gullmarsvik (@itchabop) | Ian Cid (@skydevilpalm)"

For people wanting to know if it's worth it, I've just posted a review (written review below):

Gameplay

So the game boasts a one button control scheme, hit any button to start moving and then any button to jump. The aim of each level if to reach the goal picking up as many of the 3 collectables as you can on the way.

Sounds simple right! Wrong, once you get past the first section they really turn the thumb screws, testing you concentration, reflexes and sanity!

In total there is 140+ levels on the game that will keep you challenged for quite some time, then there is the endless mode to boot. If you have some sadistic friends, there is also 2-4 player modes which are exclusive to the Switch.

Done all that, they you can go back and play each level in mirror, night and a spinning screen mode (which made me feel quite sick on some of the tougher levels).

Graphics

Simple pixel art but you can pick from a selection of Avatars and Level skins made by a whole host of pixel graphics masters. There is 10 level skins or themes in total with a ton of avatars in each.

Personal favourite is the orange and silver platforms by @iLkKke as the contrast is nice and high but it also looks perfect for the simple gameplay.

Sound

The SFX fit the game play, in that they are minimal but polished so fit the purpose exactly.

The music is a nice chilled affair, juxtaposing nicely with devilish gameplay. I’m not sure if it was the developers intent that you would play the game for longer sessions, but after a while you do notice that it does start to repeat. I’d love it if they updated with a few more tunes along the same theme as the current music.

Overall, platforms are not usually my wheelhouse but I’ve had a lot of fun with Super One More Jump. I think that it’s so simplistic on the surface and that you can see what you need to do after a few attempts that you just have to give it one more go… or jump.

It’s going to be one of those games where you try to have a quick session on the bus or train and then one of two things happen. You miss your stop because you’re just having “one more go” or everyone is looking at you because you’ve stoop up, screamed and threw your switch down the isle.

All rage aside, the minimal charm of the game has really one me over to the game and if you’re looking for a new platforming challenge, the $7.00/ £4.99 is definitely worth price.
