Topic: Splatoon 3

@Budda I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say we're going to be alternating between the two: Splatfest one month, Big Run the next. Under this schedule, we'll get both Splatoween and Frosty Fest....next year. It ain't the greatest but hey what can you do.

Immensely excited for Big Run after the Chill Season trailer though (since it seems to be treated like Salmon Run Splatfest, what with the hub changing, specific music, that kind of stuff. Here's hoping for exclusive rewards as well!).

@Budda @Fizza Regarding frosty fest, the winter holiday splatfest was always in early january, around new years. Correct me if I'm wrong. December never had splatfest, as much as I wanted a christmas time themed splatfest. So, if they follow that pattern, our next splatfest in around new years, technically january(next year).

Splat2: Socks vs Sweater
Both red and green color.
Obvious Christmas themed.

Edit: I guess we had enough green and red themed Splatfest already now in Splat3. So saving it for maybe next year is probably better.

I cannot begin to describe the amount of pure happiness and dopamine I get from seeing art of these two together.

The "Big Swing Roller"..
Seems like it's the Roller version of the Splatershot Jr.. Low ink consumption, high paint output. The only question is how good is it dealing damage. 🤔

Oof, that weapon rotation in Salmon Run last night. I got destroyed. Never completed three waves for 8 runs. I dropped from pro 3 to pro 2. If I didn't have the bamboozler or ballpoint splatling, nobody was taking down flyfish, stingers, steelheads, slammin lids, drizzlers. I'm not sure it would have looked any different if we purposely avoided salmonid bosses - amazing.

Side notes:
I got the silver Salmon Run badge for 100,000 grizzco points. And I saw a silver Salmon Run boss badge for the first time. Someone had a silver Maws badge (killed 1,000 maws). Does @BenAV or anyone else have any silver Salmon Run boss badges?

I got 3 Boss Silver Badges and they keep coming one after another.
I probably have to disagree with the weapon rotation. The Dynamo Roller is a guaranteed win at a Glowfly wave. If the person who got it knows what to do. And it's generally a good way to get rid of Cohock fast. Maybe the Bamboo isn't too great but it's good for Mothership at least.

@WoomyNNYes Only Maws so far. Probably not too far away from others but taking a break from the game till the update drops.

Yeah, I also think I'll be taking a bit of a break from the game until December 1. Not that I'm burnt out from the game yet, but rather I want to feel fresh and excited about all the new stuff. I also want to catch up on a lot of other games I've been playing and got put to the side due to the Catalog and Splatfests.

@Budda I don't disagree about the strentgh of the Dynamo. Sometimes the game seems to think I'm an OP god in Pro 2- Eggsecutive, and I can't carry the teams I'm matched with (early evening, US region). I guess I'm not that good.

English tweet just came out there about an hour ago and it's translated name is....the Big Swig Roller.

@Kairu Fantastic stuff to hear! If you want, I'd be more than glad to add you as a friend whenever you end up getting it for stuff like online matches and such! I've been considering putting my FC on here for the past while so once I decide one way or the other, I'll let you know (if you agree in the first place that is XD).

In other news, we got a bit of info on how Rank X will work. It's basically everything you've heard so far with an added wrinkle that there'll be two 'divisions' of Rank X: the Takoroka Division and the Tentatek Division. What makes this interesting is that these are divided by region: Takoroka is comprised of the main Asian countries + Oceania while Tentatek is the same but for the Americas and Europe.

The region split thing is interesting. I mean, local matchmaking already means that most games are with players from the same region, but having your rank separated is a new addition. Regarding Anarchy rank, could someone refresh me on what will happen after December 1st? I remember reading somewhere that there’ll be some sort of reset, and that S+10 acts as some sort of threshold. Currently at S+7 and wondering whether it’s worth the short to push up to 10 so that I don’t automatically get sent back to 0.
