Topic: Setting Up Blather’s Tent.. Can’t Cross River

Tom Nook has given me the opportunity to choose a spot for the new arrival, Blathers the owl. After arriving on my island, I noticed that I cannot cross a river and explore the rest of my island. I googled up how to get the vaulting pole and it seems that I have to get Blathers all set up before I can earn it... but I don’t want to set up Blathers’s tent in my limited area, I want it across the river somewhere. What do I do? Is it supposed to be this way and I should just choose a spot with the land I have access to?

What you want to do is impossible, but I think you can move it later.

Well, it’s not impossible, since they’re more than free to visit someone else’s island and get a vaulting pole right away. But yes, it’s better to just take time to plan the island and move it to a better position later.
