Topic: Serious Sam not available on EU eShop

This is kinda weird, but Serious Sam has disappeared from the EU eShop. It was in my wish list and was available to preorder the other day, I was on the fence so didn't preorder. Anyways, it's supposed to be out today and I just got an email from Nintendo saying it's out, so decided to buy it and the page is now no where to be seen.

I just checked the game's page on my phone and it says it's not available to purchase in my country. Wtf? I was looking forward to it all day

Has there been any statement on this or does anyone know what's going on? I can't find anything on Google or social media.

Oddly, it's in my news feed on Switch & that takes you to a page saying not available in my country (UK), as well .... Can't find anything on that, so it may be some temporary issue? Sorry not to be any help

Nah, that's fine. It at least confirms that the issue hasn't been addressed yet. Hopefully it's just a temporary issue, as you said.

I've since had a look on the Twitter and Facebook pages for Serious Sam and can see that a few people have commented about the issue, but unfortunately have not had a response from the publisher.

Cool! Hopefully, that mean the publisher is as surprised as we are .... &/or are on the case? Hopefully, there'll be some news soon, at least

Still unavailable, putting this topic on my watchlist (despite my notifications gathering dust, lol).
Missed out on a review copy from both Italian sites I'm writing for, really worried this game will pull a Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories (as in, announcing release and then not coming out).

There's still no word from the publisher and developer and for some reason NintendoLife and no other European site seems to have picked it up as a story?

I mean I googled it yesterday to see if there was any news and the only result I could find was this very thread I created 😂

I'm really bummed about it too. Apparently there's an issue with the age rating and has been pulled down across Europe. No idea if it's coming back. I've tweeted the devs and gotten no response.
Apparently you can buy it from the USA eShop, if that helps?
Fingers crossed they sort it out ASAP. Anyone know how long an age rating dispute might take?

Well, it seems to be missing from the Australia eshop, too, @ElijahJoenz! The only idea about why is the 'age rating' but I can't find anything further on that! Hopefully, that is being sorted out but you'd think they'd say something about it officially in that case, so .....

I'm worried they aren't going to bother after it has reviewed so badly? Surely this has lost them a lot of sales.

It's back up in the eShop guys, at least it is for me in the UK. Thought I should let you know.
