@LastJediKnight7 EXCEPT Dragon Quest XI S was actually published by Nintendo outside of Japan on Switch, as were the Switch versions of both Bayonetta games too which is why that rule is extremely flawed

In order for something to count as first party, it has to be developed specifically by Nintendo and not just published by them. Games like Bayonetta 2, MUA3 and Astral Chain are third party exclusives, as they weren't developed by Nintendo and don't cover any of Nintendo's exclusive franchises. A few of those examples also come from franchises with a multiplatform history which is why it doesn't make sense to group them in with games like Mario, Zelda, Splatoon and Smash which are core Nintendo IPs.

@TheFrenchiestFry Look mate, I'm not trying to argue with you about what is first party and what isn't. I know that Tokyo Mirage Sessions isn't first party. But, the person who MADE the thread said we could include games published by Nintendo so that is what I've done. I'm following the standard set by the person who made the post, not you.

Furthermore, several people have included it in their lists. Just chill.

@RR529 Not to be rude but your rule about excluding certain games from inclusion like Dragon Quest XI and both Bayonettas immediately contradicts itself considering Nintendo published all three of those games either worldwide or outside Japan.

Except he said the games have to be exclusive to Nintendo systems, so specifically said Bayonetta 1 & DQXI don't count, since they are on other platforms, @TheFrenchiestFry
While he specifically said Bayonetta 2 does count.... It's not really that complicated

@BruceCM For real. Just take the care to read the initial post and don't take too much time to worry about what others post. lol

Otherwise, Pokemon isn't a Nintendo series, since it's not made by them, @LastJediKnight7.... & Fire Emblem! Can't imagine anyone seriously arguing those, though.

I'll try to keep it simple:

Must plays: Super Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Animal Crossing New Horizons

Highly Recommended: Dragon Quest XI S, Mario + Rabbids, Luigi's Mansion 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Splatoon 3, Ring Fit Adventure (I was really impressed with it), Link's Awakening HD, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Then the rest. And these are games I personally associate with Nintendo on the Switch, wether published or developed by.
