The trophy for 100% Adventure mode completion is quite easy to get in this game considering I got it when I was only in the middle of chapter 4...

@ECL-2K How are you playing the game? I'm playing in handheld mode with the Joy-Con's directional buttons and haven't had a single accidental hard drop in 10+ hours so far.

@ECL-2K The Pro Controller's dpad is pretty terrible for Tetris in general but if you don't have problems with the first game or Tetris 99 then it sounds pretty strange that you'd have problems with this one. Maybe the sensitivity is higher or something. Considering there's no settings for that there's probably not a lot you can do about it except for trying a different controller or remapping your up button to something else in your Switch settings.

@Northwind Only thing you can really do for the time limit stages is just practice playing faster. I tend to win the Tetris in about 40-50 seconds which is well below any of the benchmarks for four stars. If anything the game's a bit too easy for me as I've blitzed through the first six chapters with little trouble. I can make it harder using auto difficulty but then Puyo Puyo becomes a little too hard for me so I've just left it off.

@Northwind Just take like ten seconds to quickly build up another Tetris to finish then off of something. The early game CPU is super slow and garbage so they won't be recovering any time soon. Just gotta land the final blow.

Finished getting four stars on all the adventure mode stages. Second last stage gave me a little bit of trouble but it was for the same reason as the early game stages funnily enough where I kept just destroying the CPU way too quickly before I could reach the target score so I had to take it really easy on them in the end. End progress is sitting at 219%... Someone teach SEGA how percentages work.

@BenAV I've had this problem too with the Puyo Puyo challenges in PPT1. How do you keep the CPU in the game long enough to rack up the required points?

Mechabot Ultror Fights Again

BenAV

@Burning_Spear I don't remember what I did in the first game because that was a long time ago but in this game for the Puyo Puyo matches I always just set up a five combo right at the start (I learned how to do it fairly consistently) which would always score enough points for four stars and instantly destroy the CPU so they were pretty easy. Aside from that though you can just play it slow and avoid setting up big combos while you build up your score and just hope the dumb CPU doesn't decide to commit suicide for no reason.

Any tips for Puyo? I am having a hard time getting a 2 chain.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is my favorite game
Ashe is the best character in FE:3H
Waluigi For Smash
The game I want most on switch is a new WarioWare (Welp. we got that!)
My favorite movie is Toy Story 3

In raids, what should I do when the border is flashing red and than if you place a piece you die? I find those really frustrating and just want to know what I should do when that happens.

Just 100%ed the game (final percentage with 4 stars in all levels is 219%). Before diving back in to PPT2, I only had 8-10 in PPT1 to score 3 stars in, which took me a bloody while. I also grinded for credit so that I can finally unlock the remaining alternate voices. After finally completing PPT1, I proceeded to go for 4 stars in the final world and then moved on to the EXP stages in PPT2.

No fanfare. No acknowledgement. But I feel relieved.

I only about 38 player icons to unlock, which shouldn't take too long. I'm not interested in unlocking the trophies in either of the two games.

The stages that require you to accumulate a certain number of points were easily the most painful across the two games (the fusion stages more so than the swap ones).

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I got this game, liking Tetris more than Puyo, but I'm slowly warming up to puyo as the strategies involved crystalize in my mind. What they really need though, is to port Tetris effects to Switch!
