So I just got a Switch today. I used to have a 3DS, which I sold back in 2015. I had an ID linked to that account which I had a bunch of games linked to.
I have found my ID, linked it to a Nintendo account and I'm signed into it on my PC so I know it all works fine.
When I try and add the account to my switch though, I get this error message.
"you cannot add user because you have signed into a nintendo account that has not been used on a nintendo switch before. confirm nintendo account on other console. then try again"
I found the confirmation email from 2015, account was confirmed years ago. I have tried everything I can find and it will not work.
Am I doomed, should I just make a new ID? I probably can't access my 3DS games on the switch anyway, can I?
I just want to get playing some games, but I have DLC codes and stuff so I need my ID sorted before I can begin playing.
And no, you can't access your 3DS games on your Switch, so if nothing else works, you could also simply create a new account. The info for that is in the third link I posted.
@Yellow_Devil You're welcome. Glad you found out the fix yourself, that's always best, so you can keep it in mind for the next time you'll need to move the account/ID.

There's actually a reply button that you can use, right next to a user's name in these forums here, so people get a notification that you've replied to them.

did you ever play marvel heroes on steam? was such a great game. was essentially like a marvel diablo. was actually made by the guy who made diablo as well. they lost the licence though after disney took over marvel. was a shame. loved that game.

But no, can't say that I have. I've played plenty of super hero games up til now, and the one series that probably comes closest to what you mentioned, is Marvel Ultimate Alliance, a series of which I own all the games, except the latest one on Switch, but that will be remedied at the end of this month.

On both pages, just scroll down to the bottom, and select the last page to get to the most recent comments. You can also set the "Watch this topic" button underneath the reply window to "yes", if you want to stay up to date with threads and be notified when new comments are added by other users, that you might want to react to.
Any and all notifications will show up in the top right of the screen, next to your avatar or user name when you're on a PC or laptop, and when you're on a smart phone, they'll be in the top left corner.
