Topic: Pro controller input lag on PC

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about purchasing the pro controller. I also play on PC, and I would like to use the controller not only for the switch, but also for PC games.

Can you connect the controller to the pc through the USB cable ( my laptop has no bluetooth ...)?
Can you play non-steam games?
And most importantly, is there any input lag?

The Pro Controller doesn't even allow the option to play wired on the Switch, so you're probably out of luck there. Would've been nice (especially for a $70 controller)!

Steam has the option to connect a Pro Controller, but I haven't played around with the feature. My experience connecting other controllers to Steam has been all fine and good, though you'll want to disable the onscreen keyboard in Settings. It can minimize your game and send you to your desktop. I imagine any input lag you experience will likely be wireless standard fare.

EDIT: Actually, I just learned the Switch has an integrated wired feature. Seems to work with PC, as well. More info here.

@ValhallaOutcast Thanks, but did you not see I already corrected my post?
