Topic: Please help! Right joycon issue

So I seem to have an issue with my right (neon red) joy con.

The connectivity when using the right joycon wirelessly seems a lot worse than the left.
I normally play on the sofa and have a pillow on my lap for comfort. I noticed a drop out in connectivity on the left joycon if my hand was griping it in a certain position or too close to the pillow. This isn't something that ever happened with the left. I have tested holding the joycon and moving my hand around and can confirm the right definitely seems to drop out, but not the left. I also did a distance test with the right again dropping out first. After reading a few of posts online a couple of people who had simular issues said it was switch console related issue, not the joycon. Can this really be the case? Especially when the left is fine? Any help would be really appreciated! I have already ordered a replacement right joy con in the hope it isn't but wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue.
